The Colts didn't draft an offensive lineman until the 7th round. I wonder if that played in his decision. He keeps getting injured and the front office hasn't done much to protect him.
This drivel couldn't be more wrong. The Colts have a great offensive line right now, amongst the best in the league. Luck is still injury prone. He threw out his shoulder and has admitted that his throwing mechanics in the past were not ideal as he didnt use his whole body and just used his arm to throw. He retired because he didnt have the same enjoyment/motivation he once had after injuries, and now wants to focus on family and other things. It definitely is disappointing as a fan of the NFL period, but I respect his decision.
