He’s had a few beards for sure.

Anyone that can run a sub 5 minute mile should be able to do this.
Dribbling a soccer ball would be more interesting since that takes a lot more skill and coordination.

I hope he keeps it up because I love the way he provokes you guys by having fun.

There is no way you were ever a big fan of Symmonds. If you had been you would have known that this is the type of guy he has always been.
We used to sit on the edge of our seats watching that Guiness World Records show in the late 90s to see if people could achieve obscure world records. 20 years later somebody we know is doing the same thing and you're crapping all over it. Are they weird records? Yes. Are they dumb? Maybe. Should he stop? Who cares because that's up to him. If you don't want him to have the records beat them yourself. Surely a decent HS runner can beat most of them anyway.
He's become the town jackass, much like Lumpy's dad Fred Rutherford in Leave it to Beaver.
I don't see the problem here. If everyone was loved as much as Nick Symmonds loves himself what a wonderful world it would be?
Ya'll are some triggered boys, let this man make his money.

Also abused on letsrun: "noone". Please use "no one" or "no-one."

There's no $$$ in T&F and we're gonna spend our time complaining about someone who has a following that's getting creative to build up a company and keep content coming out for his fan base?
If Nick Symmonds bothers you so much stop following him on Twitter and Instagram.
Hmmmm....looking at Nick's videos is causing me to crave attention too. I wonder if I could watch his world record videos for twenty-four hours straight, could that be a record? Perhaps if I did it for charity ... you know, for the children ....or for science?
Haters gonna hate on LetsRun, no matter what ol' Nick does. That's the beauty (excuse me while I hurl) of a message board where anonymity breeds contempt.
Those stick-in-the-mud armchair nobodies who want to take potshots at the man are free to do so on LetsRun.
I'm reminded of the sneering, all-knowing blowhard Protestant played by Graham Chapman in this clip from "The Meaning of Life":

There are a ton of Graham Chapman Protestants on this message board.

Maybe. But to me there is something a little pathetic about a former-world-class runner doing these stunts. I don’t hate him for it though. Just seems a little demeaning.
what would you rather he do?

I'm not saying he can't have fun. I think he looses credibility as an expert former talking about his experiences with track and field and doing these youtube stunts, that's all.
Imagine thinking a world silver, a 1:42 and one of the most consistent 800 guys the country has ever seen loses credibility because he wants to have fun lol you clown. “Hey Nick I don’t know if I would trust you’re training because after you retired you decided to do some fun YouTube videos”
lol chill he's having fun mate
Yeah keep living your average life, while some of us get paid big money to do extra-ordinary feats. Loving how triggered the Letsrun trolls are over this, ha.
