Another preachy religious movie from the Kendrick brothers. I will probably see it, but I hold out little hope the running will be little more than a vehicle for their simpke-minded, treacly sermonizing.
"Simple-minded."
I don't know how to watch videos; does anyone see Jordan hasay in it?
So the guy loses his ball team, and needs to find god to enjoy coaching running? And thats a script that somebody funded? wow, just wow.

Oh, I'm pulling for the asthmatic girl. Having been there and done that all of my life, I relate. It's great that they are making films about this now.
Awesome!!!
This looks so bad. Why is this promoted? I'm embarrassed for the sport and this website. A new low.
This looks ... not good. I competed against schools that could only field a couple guys or girls (maybe 5 of the other gender in hs) and they were never good. But anyways, this is not a movie that makes running look fun or exciting, except maybe to some evangelical christian types. Running needs a movie that is more gossip girl and less preachy melodrama. Something edgy and cool, especially if the target audience are teens.
How many stuntwomen will they have to hire to make the finishing chute scenes look realistic? I doubt the producers want the actual actresses dramatically launching their bodies down to the ground in droves to simulate an actual HS girl’s XC finish.
In principle, I'm excited that someone's funding a movie about high school cross country.
Unfortunately, it looks awful.
Hope the film is better than the title!
Exchange rock music with running and this applies
Love bad Christian themed movies about running? Then check out, "Remember the Goal". Truly awful cinema. The director is also putting out another schlockfest called, "The Perfect Race" in October. My daughter and her teammates watch "Goal" before meets just to laugh at the bad acting, corny soundtrack, and the unintentionally comedic running form and training advice on display.
Why promote this horrible crap?
I was almost sold until she was wearing headphones in the race. It's almost like they have zero idea about the rules and regulations of an XC race...

We put it up for the same reason why we put up a clip of Dan Wetzel talking about women's cross country in our podcast a few weeks ago. It's interesting to us to see how the average non-runner views running. All of the stereotypes are fascinating and entertaining.
The podcast audio was from July 31st if you missed it.

Let's not forget the crying and the puking. Seriously though, any publicity for the sport is good publicity. If your motivation for running comes from God, more power to you.
