How can we make the elite sport of running be more popular? Don't broadcast it.
My goodness. Turned it off and just watching Birmingham DL instead.
Really wanted to see Cheserek.

Dont blame you, this is not even unwatchable as there is nothing to watch. How are you watching DL. No Gold here.
Lodeki supposedly about to win it. Sara holding on for 2nd right behind her! Wangari 3rd.
Desi maybe 9th? saw becky Wade in about 6th.
Men finish in about 15 seconds but NO idea whats about to take place
Korir by 15 seconds? takes 1st Falmouth over Sambu. Ches right on his heels for 3rd. Ferlic & Droddy 5th/6th?
Yes, mainly running, though I suspect God disapproves of playing sports on Sunday morning, though is okay with playing them after 12pm.
Golf and baseball involve quite a bit of non-activity so these are more acceptable than Football and UFC.
God does not watch women's basketball and soccer for obvious reasons.

He led right after those really tough first 2 1/2 hilly miles. Not sure if he even got Top 10. Tough to not draw attention to yourself when you're that tall.

Hey, Jonathan, have your summer intern post the results soon before she goes to get you a post race beer or bowl of New England Clam Chowder.

King Ches taking over the world!!
Why even do race coverage if the only cameras you have are one at the start and one at the finish. That was 60 minutes of my life I'll never get back.
This event coverage was almost as bad as the baltimore marathon

I usually like J Gault's write ups but this line is just dumb: "Thompson ran 9:02.84, finishing 12th in a 13-man race. His time was slower than Courtney Frerichs‘ personal best."
The barriers in the men's and women's steeples are very different heights. It is silly to compare times between the two races.
Yeah yea, where are the hypsters now? wrote:

How about something like josh Thompson ran a minute slower than the world record Or would not have been fast enough to win baby nationals?
Nice story, Jonathan!
