I agree with the whole of what was written in the original post.
And I will add to it the great cost of treating cancer patients and extending their lives many years while many are on disability not working and contributing taxes/premiums.
What you wrote is that people with the financial means should be able to extend their life as much as they can but people without money should be left untreated to die quickly.
Right now, a middle class family that has a child diagnosed with leukemia can have it treated through insurance and survive.
You don't believe in insurance so you would let the child die quickly - which would reduce healthcare costs, I must agree.
Healthcare is expensive because we have the means to treat people and want everyone to be treated.
