Don't think this story has been posted although it happened a couple of weeks ago.
David Rudisha's wife called him out on social media for 'frustrating' her and their kids. Nobody seems to know what it's all about, but the article mentions his manager confirming he is injured again and out until next season.

Didn't read the article, but from your post, I think she's way out of line

He's done. No way in hell he defends his Olympic title. He needs training to go without a hitch and these injuries tells me that ain't happening anymore.

All these Kenyan stars have problems with the ladies. I think it's because they speak too softly.

True, you never hear the Jamaican sprint stars have these kind of problem. -
Kenyans at least have loyalty to their wives. Jamaica is one of those countries that celebrates adultery. You can tell if from their culture.

Obviously, mhm123321 is an idiot who has never been to Kenya but wants to spout off.
Adultery is perfectly common in Kenya, and having multiple wives is not in the distant path for many groups. Some still do! -
No idea what to think here without way more context. Did he do something to her or does she just not want him to be training with family obligations. If he did something then hopefully that gets sorted out if not this feels like a non-story.

He has been training and competing at the highest level for all of his adult life. His wife would not be surprised by that.
More likely he is absconding taking too MUCH of the kids' time away from her. -
I honestly thought he retired already. Last I saw he helped organize the Maasai Games or something. But at this point, why even bother? Two Olympic golds, two world's golds, and the WR. His legacy is more than secure

Rudisha is Maasai.
Maasai culture isn't monogamous like Western culture. You can have sex with other people and it doesn't mean you're 'disloyal' to your spouse because your spouse is doing the same.
Your spouse might complain if you're not doing your share of work but having sex with others (who are usually married to other tribe members) is something that's normal and accepted as a social thing. -

Not at all true. The men are allowed to practice polygamy but the women must be monogamous. In fact, upon death of the husband, the woman is not allowed to remarry. -
I think the frustration is him not racing and making money.

That's a scary message. Sounds like one someone sends out before they're about to depend their kids in the bathtub and kill them selves. Disturbing.

It could be anything but my guess is he's into booze. That's the kind of thing she'd be reaching out to her family about without actually mentioning it. She should have known she was marrying the champion of pure hate.
Also these Kenyan websites need to start collecting ad money from the Coca Cola soda pop company. -
perhaps hes serving a secret doping ban where he paid the IAAF a fee to not be exposed and is "injured."

I'm not quite sure that this is true, but it is painfully obvious that Rudisha has faked numerous injuries to not race during non-championship years. He dopes for four years straight and then shows up and dominates the Olympics.
Disappear, Dope, Dominate... Repeat. -
And we wonder why Jamaicans live longer lives... less stress = more life

Can you explain how the math works here then?...if men can have multiple partners but women can only have one. Where are the additional women coming from? Would it not require that some men have no partners to allow for other men to have many? or is it based on the women lying about their other partners where the men do not have to lie? Or is it centered around the idea that women live longer, and thus outnumber men by a little?
