What is the update on his status?
Seems like he kind of shined very bright for a few seasons, but I have a hard time believing we will see the peak performances that he reached in 2016 again based off of how he has fared the past two plus years.

His contract dispute between New Balance and Nike from 2016 was over a three year deal. So one would assume he is back to working fries at Mickey Ds.
He’s in an option year.

Like all of the athletes in his group injured and not running.
NB will drop him.

Nike dodges a bullet on this one. Dude is FINISHED.

Was a NB athlete when he won the world indoor gold. I certainly wouldn't call that dodging a bullet. I anal find it strange that you seem to take particular satisfaction from another person's failure. What is wrong inside of you to want to react that way?

According to Boris Berian quotes, he ran through damaged Achilles, 2016. Did the Achilles heal properly? Does Berian have other injury problems? Is he healthy but just unable to regain his speed and fitness?

So you posted a fake Freudian slip using a Freud handle ..? Or maybe that’s such a commonly used word that auto-correct thought it was doing you a solid?
No, I’m not relishing in Borian’s complete non-presence on the circuit. I wish he were still at that 2015-2016 level.
My point is that nobody got their money’s worth on a $375,000 3-year contract when dude only put together a year of decent showings.

Yeah, Nike TOTALLY dodged being the sponsor of the most interesting man running on the 2016 US Olympic team.
He is actually in a new TV/web ad by New Balance, so they don't seem to be dropping him.
Finally, Meb's brother is his agent, so you KNOW he will get every possible cent lol.
Like CrossFit?

Who else in his group is injured?
I thought that NB gave him a "no reduction" deal. So what if he's crippled, bedridden and in traction? So what if my grandmother can run the 800 faster than he can right now? Didn't his new wonderful contract guarantee him full payment for life?
For that matter, where are any runners from Carlos' Big Bear group this year?
The McD's he worked at closed.
speak up, I can't hear you wrote:

Most interesting? Are you kidding?
You know we had people medal at Rio right?
I just reviewed all men summer Olympic final, 800m. Most guys who finish last place in Olympic 800m final, fall off planet earth. Exceptions: Nixon Kiprotich & Ismail Ahmed Ismail.
