Tulsi is one of the few reasonable voices. Probably puts her chances at nil.

The 80% is a simplistic measure where they take the average of pay for all women working and compare it to the average of all men working. It is very disingenuous to imply that the 80% applies to equal pay in the same jobs, where the gap is significantly less.

Exactly!! I suspect the major difference is really with advancement and not with a pay gap
Corey Booker - strong performance
Joe Biden - not a disaster, although not super sharp and remains susceptible to the “too old” label. Used “the fact is” way too many times
Castro - very solid, but did not rise to the top
Gillibrand - weak
Jay Inslee -understated, but diamond in the rough. Love him
Kamala Harris - solid
Deblasio- didn’t appear as a leader. Asked Biden too many questions.
Gabbert - no gravity
Bennet - Jimmy Stewart of the debate
Yang - nothing to loose, but has some tangible and real thought provoking ideas
How are you going to pay for the $1k/mo universal income?

No freakin way will this happen. Although the value of someone staying home taking care of the children is significant
De Blasio doesn't seem like he's actually running for president. His style is really odd.

Agree, he’s so off center NY.
How about a Booker/Warren ticket?
I thought Biden’s night was a disaster. He is being criticized by the media for saying “go easy on me, kid” to Kamala Harris. He was heckled so bad by a member of the audience that he had to pause and stop speaking. De Blasio and Booker both ripped him apart on immigration and the Obama administration’s deportations. Gillibrand attacked him for an op ed he wrote in which he made sexist comments and Kamala once again brought up the busing issue. His record as a senator on the issues was repeatedly challenged by most of the candidates. He spent most of the night just trying to defend himself and his one highlight was roasting De Blasio towards the end. I’d say Biden will be going home devastated. Not a good night for him, but I’m sure he’ll rebound as he has for years.

Very risky. That ticket might be defeated by a Trump/Vladimir campaign. Mueller was quite clear that Vladimir is very active on numerous fronts. Decriminalize illegal crossing into the country, take away your choice of employer provided insurance and call yourself a social democrat?
Vladimir and his people would have a field day with that.
Very sadly this is true. Biden’s weakness was apparent tonight.
Biden did extremely well. He had a huge target on his chest as a front runner, was repeatedly attacked by numerous people, and had a long career from which to cherry pick unpopular decisions.
Yet he took on all challenges with intelligence and energy. He is ready for Trump.
He has policy positions that will sell with the general population, not just the Democrat activists.
He will bury the hatchet with Harris and pick her as VP (hopefully).

Vlads command of the English language will hurt their campaign. What the dems fail to acknowledge, is that Trump ALWAYS has a kernel of truth to what he says. Immigration, trade, Baltimore etc. So instead of opposing the idea, they should be focusing on how they can do it better

No way. He’s clearly most electable, but his weakness was magnified tonight. He’s not up to a one on one on stage with Trump
I thought he did okay. He was the focal point of all the others, being the front runner. It’s hard coming up with responses on the fly against 9 others who have rehearsed their attack lines but I think a lot of centrist Dems will be okay with his responses
Kamala got a fair bit of hits from some of the others. She should probably take that as a compliment as they recognize her as a threat. She was grating in her delivery.
De Blasio kept returning to his tax the rich theme which will not have broad appeal
Andrew Wang scares me with his emphasis on cl8mate change and universal income
Booker was a little too cute and emotive
Gillibrand seemed shallow, anchored principally on the woman identity thing.
Julian too hung up on the immigration issue which for him is a non issue except that it is
Biden wins, because he didn't fall asleep the whole time (unlike most viewers).
Plus: their attempts to attack him via BHO are doomed to fission.
The Drudege poll (Still Going) has Gabbard leading at 40%, Yang 2nd at 24%, Biden 3rd at 14%, DiBlasio 4th at 4%, probably very early and likely to change a lot.
Drudge
Also someone from The NYPD was on TV and said the NYPD have sent a few cops to Detroit to protest against DeBlasio, saying he is not liked by most members of the NYPD.

Therefore, none of them have a chance to be the Democratic candidate.
