It seems to me like the media and Washington pollsters are too caught up in Twitter and refuse to see what the ordinary Americans want in a candidate: an adult who can beat Trump.
I am an Independent and I am praying that one of these Dem candidates will come to their senses and leave the Twitter BS behind. No one over the age of 16 that isn't mentally deranged or totally gaslit cares about these hyper-progressive issues.
I think Mayor Pete was fantastic last night. Bernie is unhinged and while it might excite far-left crazies, he doesn't play well with anyone sane. Calling for a revolution? People just want safe neighborhoods, health care, kindness, and less corruption.
I am somewhat impressed with Warren after last night, but I worry about her past. She gets very caught up in the moment - like Trump - and can say some pretty unsavory things. Maybe she can eliminate that and be a leader.
I think tonight will be about eliminating Joe, and with that will come all kinds of racial accusations. If Harris pulls that again, I think it will be the end of her as well. No one wants a race baiter in the White House. We have dealt with that since 2016 and it's been a disaster.
What I found odd is that the CNN talking heads were praising Bernie and Warren last night, totally ignoring Pete. I get that Pete didn't yell and scream and stomp his feet, but I think most Americans noticed that and mentally acknowledged it as a good thing. He is my top pick at this time: definitely green but very smart, articulate, fair, and lucid.
A lot of folks like me out here who are really hoping the Democrats can put up a decent candidate. I am not voting for someone who is calling for a revolution. That is crazy talk.
