Bougard (sp?) pretty baller crushing the 800 field to get the hepathlon victory. Had to beat the other contender by 4.5 seconds, and probably put 9 seconds between them.
800 is about to start.
Hoppel kind of looks like Jim Ryun
54 first lap
No surprise.
Bryce Hoppel is the man.
Brazier and Murphy could go for 1-2 at worlds
Finally, I picked the first 3 correctly.
that was impressive
50.63 for Brazier's 2nd lap. Wut.

Lmao, no, neither of them can run 1:41

That's why track is such a fun sport to watch. You never know who is gonna win, it's not just about physical ability anymore but getting more and more about tactics and strategy.

Running 55-50 is a HARD way to run 1:45. He has 1:42 in him
I may eat my words but worlds being a 1:41 race seems far from likely... two hot rounds of 800 followed by a final will be tough. If Amos starts, he likely won't have his form, and no one, not even Rotich, has the kind of guts Rudisha has.
I said it because Brazier closed in 50 point today and because rounds play to Murphy's strength.
Murphy got boxed in more than I’ve ever seen in a race. Wish i could have seen a race between brazier and Murphy that last lap.
*had
Women's steeple looks to be off to a slow start, looks like they are jogging.

Brazier is the real deal man, murphy still makes bonehead moves but has a lot of talent obviously(2016).
I hate to do this but I have to say it, prime nick symmonds would have caught brazier. He would have moved up stronger from 250-150, this is where murphy faltered

He got himself to blame for that. Brazier was positioned much better, he knew exactly where he needed to be. Murphy conserving so much energy in that first lap and relying on his 2nd lap backfired this time.
Stands are empty, what a disgrace!
Amazing run for Brazier going 55.0/50.6. For comparison Rudisha ran 145.8 off of a 54.1 at 2015 WC to win. World class.
