Unbelievable.
The Pan Am Games marathon is on ESPN2. Hardly anyone in the US new it was taking place, but glad it's got some TV coverage.

“It’s a rolly course.”

The Tracksmith Girl (Samantha Roecker) is in 4th at 30k but they say she is limping.
Anyone else notice the entire field is in vaporfly or next percents??? Not a single person isn’t in them.
The women lead is a clear example of how messed up this sport is. She won this race 4 years ago and got stripped because she was doping yet she still gets to come back and she still got to race in the Olympics even after being stripped.

She is completely clueless and she talks like she is so sure of herself. I wish she would just shut up and (I never thought I'd say this) just let Dwight Stones do the talking!

She was banned for 6 months- really nothing for a marathoner.
But, it DOES cast a shadow over her win.
WHO LET DWIGHT STONES (and jill montgomery, but, honestly, mostly dwight stones) COMMENTATE A MARATHON??????
Quite a lot of the track & field is going to be on ESPN U it seems, starting August 6th.
Unbelievably slow sports day at the WWL.

So let me get this straight. You pitched a huge fit about the selection process, raised money to trigger an arbitration to kick the current athletes off the team, BUT YOU COULDN'T EVEN BE BOTHERED TO KNOW WHEN IT WAS TAKING PLACE.
You're seriously disgusting.

around here it's more often just about the fight not the value of the issue at hand.
it's funny how obvious the rojo posts are

From what I heard post race the two Americans were drug tested but not Gladys Tejeda was not selected... Shouldn't a person that tests positive at your last championships be drug tested at the next one?!?
