Not far off. actually. Price sounds about right and those times could be literally correct. Water stops every mile but not gels. Awards given to EVERYONE, people expect finisher's medals for 5K even if they walk. Age group winners get medals which are smaller than finisher's medals. People in costumes, fat ladies in tutus. Lots of courses set up so you have to run through them, and they have a huge sense of entitlement and don't yield to people who are racing it.
