Karisa Nelson former NCAA indoor mile champ did not make the NCAA final this year outdoors. She had never under 4:10 for 1500.
She PRd at the Sunset Tour meet (4:09) and then ran another PR last night (4:07.66).
She was super pumped and that came out in the interview. "Anything's possible." She's with Brooks Beast and Danny Mackey now but her college coach Chad Balyo is still designing her workouts.
Worth a watch if you want a pick me up or a dream become a little bit of reality. Up next is the big dream of trying to make the Worlds team.

Might as well post this here as it's somewhat related but Sinclaire Johnson the NCAA champ from Oklahoma State also made the final and is on paper a more serious contender for making the Worlds team in the final.
Most interesting she said was that she was not planning on running USAs after NCAAs but after some time off she realized there was more in the tank and now she is running great and very focused believing she can make the Worlds team.
Also interesting that her coach Dave Smith told her when calculating spots for the final to remember Kate Grace was in the field and would likely kick from behind to nab a spot.
