Gonna try em for recovery. Can tell people I am running on dipping dota
So they now have a Nike AirBoost shoe.
Kinda reminds me of the Apple users thinking their phones are so innovative even though they have so many Samsung pieces......way to rip off ADIDAS!!!!
The article states they'll be available today, does anyone see them on their website?
These shoes are so hot that Nike already has promotional photos of REAL people trying to steal these shoes from people:
Why does it sound like it's more for the hobby jogger/weekend warrior crowd?
No serious runners need cushioning?
reminds me of that one kind of ice cream, the kind that comes in small little balls.
It says they are only available to Nike "members". Who knew shoe companies had "members". How does one sign up to be a "member" of a shoe company? Do I have to become a member to buy apples at the store, how about potatoes or bread? Can one become a Count Chocula member? Because that is something I really want.

Good point. All of the elites go barefoot. That's obvious.

Because that's the dominant part of the market.
I'm intrigued. Could be an interesting feeling that's great for easy runs. A detail of note is that they "expand in every direction" this is in contrast to per se Brooks shoes where they made sure to lock the sides of the shoes so their midsole only expanded vertically.

Just my opinion that Anton career was cut short due to him buying into that.

People on this forum are obsessed with calling runners "hobby joggers". It's a way for them to put other people down so they can feel better about themselves. Lots of people here are indeed pretty fast, but not fast enough to do anything with their running, so they attack others to at least feel some kind of superiority in the running world.
There's nothing wrong with running as a hobby. Too many people out there with self inflicted health problems. More people should run.
And also are elites not allowed to be shoe geeks and have fun with gear? Who gets to say this shoe is only for "hobby joggers"?
They're probably referencing their Nike+ program, which is free to join.
Even worse, no one seems to notice this is directly ripping off the Puma Jamming shoe.

That’s because most posters are hobby joggers and passive aggressive about their own abilities as they are not as fast as they want to be. I’m sure it’s a age thing. 99.9% of poster on here running career won’t amount to much more than I ran fast at colleague/school/club, than gave up. World championships and Olympics I think not. Back to the shoes...
The shoes do look like than are beginners learning to run, though the price tag of £160, I guess the same in dollars, puts it out of reach, guess they need to pay for the marketing somehow, so just the sneaker head market then. These “balls” would seem like training on unstable surface to me.

If you use the Nike Run App, you can become a member(it's free), and you get access to early releases.
I am sure there are other ways to be a member. maybe shop at a Nike store?
That's like the successor to the Epic Reacts. What crap shoes!
You can run in barefeet, tevas, socks, you name it. But it doesn't mean you should.

This is all excellent stuff except you misspelled "jogging" as "running".
e.g. you should have had'- "There's nothing wrong with jogging as a hobby.", "More people should jog", etc.
Some people here, as you say, may be "pretty fast" when they're actually running and yes maybe use that as an ego boost when comparing themselves against people who only jog and have never worked out that you can switch up a gear and actual run.
I love Epic Reacts. Great shoes.
