meanwhile the aussies have been rampantly doping up their swimmers for 30 years now !
So is there an article on Horton that he was busted for doping?
Got a standing ovation from the other swimmers at Worlds. Swimmers want a clean sport.
Do you think there are Chinese propagandists posting here? The posts against Horton are at odds with western thoughts.

This is what female XX need to do to XY runners in their races!
Question now is...
Is Horton himself clean? With only a handful of drug test fails each year in sports like swimming and track,
Along with the prevalence of peds in sports, it’s pretty obvious most drug users get away with it. Now, mr Horton is one of the top swimmers in his events, what’s the probability that he’s clean while all the guys slower than him are using?
This actually does not apply well here. There are few to no swimmers in Horton's event who have actually been busted, and SOMEONE has to be the best in the event (keep in mind, swimming has almost nonexistent monetary motivation). Incidentally, the only exception to the drug bust rule is Sun Yang, who served a ban (that was not publicly announced until it was over), and who is now being accused by WADA drug testers of smashing his own blood samples.
Let me speak bluntly here. I am Chinese. I actually grew up in China. We absolutely dope all our athletes. What you people don't understand is that culturally speaking, Chinese people have an absurdly strong perception of pride and respect. We will do ANYTHING to make sure we are respected. Winnie the Pooh was BANNED in China, because people noticed that he bore a mild resemblance to Xi Jinping, and that is considered unacceptable from his perspective. There is a 100% chance that Sun Yang is doping, as are almost all major Chinese athletes. Younger people in China will, of course, deny this, mostly because they're actively brainwashed (my own family members included). Older individuals in China are all 100% aware of this stuff, but are mostly fine letting it happen.
Do you think there are Chinese supporters posting here?
The posts against Horton are at odds with western racism toward other ethnicities and non-western countries.
Horton got a standing ovation from the other white swimmers at Worlds.
White swimmers want a clean sport - meaning just white people of course.
We can tell who's cheating just by looking at them.
Do you realise that what you said is racist? Yes presumably racist against your own race, but racist nonetheless. It takes extraordinary evidence, which is lacking, to claim that every Chinese athlete is doping, and to suggest that Chinese people in general are willing to cheat to win. Being a Chinese yourself doesn't make such racist comments against Chinese OK. rabid
Good to see Ye Shiwen back in form - silver in the 200IM.
First championship medal since the 2012 Olympics.
I used to date a Chinese girl who moved to Canada. She was a certified civil engineer in China. When she moved to Canada, permanently, the construction company she worked for arranged to keep paying her, a lesser amount, so they could remain in some kind of compliance for having a certain number of civil engineers working on the their construction jobs.
When Chinese tourists visit Australia, the most purchased product is baby formula. Chinese people don’t trust that the farmers and companies in China to make baby formula without dangerous additives and fake milk.
China is still a very corrupt place.
Remember the underage gymnast fiasco and the Chinese track nationals on an obviously short track. National Chinese federations were involved in this kind of cheating.

Hiya white-hater! How ya doin?
So what you sayin is that it be fine for someone to get busted for doping and continue to cheat as long as they are beating a white person?
Yep, China is dirtier than the floor of a movie theater. They will do anything to win and, like was said, earn respect for it. Winning is absolutely everything there.

OMG no. Don't be a racist!
I'm saying it's fine to be doping if you're white, but not okay to win races if you're from a non-white country!
So in other words you're an envious lying racist?

I admit that we're envious lying racists, but other then that your statement is not true!

Funny how people don’t realize or simply refuse to accept how rampant doping is in ALL sports and how easy it is to pass drug tests. Yes, swimming isn’t a big money sport, but it is still competitive and are people really naive enough to believe athletes aren’t using? The ones who don’t use are a rarity. Even bodybuilders who are self coached and amateurs can easily pass doping tests, let alone professional athletes who are paid to perform.
People who think mark Horton is clean, or even some swimmer who is a second or two slower than him, must believe Justin Gatlin is the only guy doping in sprints. Lol

Except Kenyan runners.
No, it is not. Again, you are fundamentally misunderstanding our culture. We KNOW that we cheat. It is universally acknowledged internally by us, because in our view, all other countries are "cheating" as well. To us, drugging up an athlete is "cheating" in name, but not "cheating" in spirit. To not use any means necessary to achieve success is the pinnacle of stupidity. No actual Chinese individual you speak to would even remotely consider this racism. In fact, we generally take pride in something like this.
Let me give you a few more examples.
- In China, it is absolutely understood that every successful parent should take any measures to ensure their child's success. If an executive of a major Chinese business grants a high-level position to a son or daughter who absolutely lacks the qualifications, it is celebrated.
- In China, it is celebrated to flaunt your wealth. A wealthy second-generation son or daughter is actually held in high regard for being the child of a wealthy family, despite doing nothing to actually earn the wealth.
- In China, the ends ALWAYS justify the means. We literally have courses teaching Chinese students how to game the American college admissions system. An individual fully fluent in both English and Chinese can pocket $10,000 for taking a few days to write a high-quality admissions essay for a wealthy Chinese patron. I am being blunt here. This is not like SAT prep courses in the US. We quite literally have people do the work for the students as long as they pay enough.
Even with this, I doubt you will understand, given that you are so far removed from anything REMOTELY Chinese. I would suggest that you start with popular Chinese novels or authors, such as Jin Yong, or recent drama series such as Wu Dong Qian Kun or Dou Po Cang Qiong. They'll give you a little more insight into how Chinese individuals actually perceive things.
Seyta, great insight. Please continue to post more. I am interested in what you have to say
Also, how are you posting from behind the great firewall of china? Is LRC not banned?
