This is a good example of a person who is very enthusiastic and confident in themselves and abilities, and will stand out during job applications and interviews. The problem with this type of attitude and enthusiasm is, it comes from a place of self absorbed naivety. It is a hollow shell, a shallow puddle, quantity over quality. A person who assumes their experiences and knowledge are superior to everyone else's is because they lack the self realization of how much they actually do not know.
The lucky thing for this person, he will easily fool other naive and self important people, which the modern job application and interview process rewards.
Putting importance on memorizing a thousand different race results just shows how oblivious this person is to what actually makes a good coach. You need to be able to recognize what is most valuable, and what is pointless. There is a limit to what the average person is willing to do. An overly technical and detail oriented "auststic" coach won't be able to separate valuable things from unvaluable.
