After reading through this thread, it's obvious you're just trying to get a rise out of people. All of the "evidence" supporting your ignorant opinion is just cherry-picked results of other runners who did not run to their potential over 5000m.
Someone who runs 7:30.16 winning by 1.5 seconds, 13:01.26 indoors, and 26:44.36 winning by 5 seconds with a 1:57 last 800m is capable of much faster than 12:58.90. No one with an IQ above 80 will dispute this.
Earlier in this thread you stated that "Galen generally ran faster indoors" which is both untrue and misleading. His outdoor 800m, 1500m, and 5000m are all faster than his indoor marks at those distances. Indoors he is faster at the Mile and 3000m, but he rarely ran those races outdoors so we shouldn't be surprised.
Here's a perfect example of your cherry-picking. Someone brought up his indoor 5000m mark and you responded with this: " Isiah Koech ran 12:53.29 indoors and 12:48.64 outdoors in Paris" to justify your belief that running 13:01 indoors doesn't indicate low 12:50 outdoor potential. Look at all of the others that are above Rupp on the all-time list. Koech is the exception.
12:49.60 Kenenisa Bekele (12:37.35 outdoors)
12:50.38 Haile Gebrselassie (12:39.36)
12:51.48 Daniel Komen (12:39.74)
12:53.29 Isiah Koech (12:48.64)
12:55.72 Eliud Kipchoge (12:46.53)
12:58.67 Thomas Longosiwa (12:49.04)
13:01.26 Galen Rupp (12:58.90)
I'm sure this is a troll (how can it not be with that Gjert Ingebrigtsen bit lol) but I'm responding anyway in the off chance that you're really this dumb.
