I don't know why, but I feel banning manhole is somehow homophobic.
There's something in the water in Bezerkeley
I've never been to Berkly. In fact, I've never even heard of it before.
I thought it was just a fishing lure company, I didnt realize it was also a location. That has to be confusing when most people are already familiar with Berkeley, CA.
You’re a lifesaver, without the manhole.
Just wait til they figure out that Berkeley was named after a man.

Here's a better one, wait till they find out that certain languages like Spanish base nouns on either masculine or feminine.
I guess I just don't understand why this offends you.
Berkley, CA is editing there municipal code. Why do you care?
My burning question is: what will Ithaca, New York do to top Berkeley?

They will rename the city of Ithaca to "Womanhattan" to offset the atrocity of a borough right in their own state having the sexist name of Manhattan.
is this not homophobic wrote:

beat me to it
nice work
They also just banned natural gas in homes. Berkeley is an interesting place.
I am totally ok with calling them womanholes.
And I’d like to see equal numbers of women going down there to clean and repair. They can make up for what the did to men by creating a society where males did the most dangerous and sickening work causing them to have Lower life expectancies.
So for the next thousand years they are womanholes.
This is one giant leap for personkind
What about "manwhore"?

Correct, the title is intentionally misleading. Still a bit of a waste of time as an exercise imo.
How did you leave this part out from the article??? That's probably my favorite one!
“sorority” or “fraternity” would be changed to “collegiate Greek system residence.”
People love to obsess about a 125k population city 1000s of miles from them.
Living rent free in your head - although its not as prime as bay area real estate.
Berkeley has produced something like a dozen Nobel Prizes so they must be doing something right.

Imagine having this small of a brain that you conflate the university's success with the city itself.

Boston has Harvard and MIT. Ergo, the racism in Boston is acceptable. Harambe is a genius.
