Thanks, I'll check out the page. That guy has been there forever it seems.

Butler always has the tools baby, no doubt; Tucker is the most talented runner butler's seen since Siele and Siele was more talented than Mwangi. IF FRESH tucker's a top ten contender come nat's. Mobley don't stand a chance 'gainst mark, and the danish wonder doesn't either, but it all comes down to proper planning. and staying sober. sober, butler's the best in Indiana.

Maybe runner78 was talking about Talia Barwick. Sure, she was a 2:11/2:12 type, but she had a LOT of baggage coming in. Runner78 sounds like a disgruntled former Sycamore who left the program because of her own doing and own behavior. Maybe she was doing things away from the track that was taking away from her performances, and now is looking for someone to blame. Sound familiar? Hmmmmm...maybe Alisha McDaniel?
Why would you say it's Alisha?
it was requested that I rank the women so here it is:
1. Notre Dame(the men are usually the fastest so the women are probably good too, i know they usually make it to nationals which automatically makes them best here)
2. Ball St. (they are the hottest team, maybe the sluttiest too from what I know about BSU, but also the most talented with Nowak and Ritz leading, of course coach parks usually has them fading by districts)
3. Purdue(the coach here must not be poehlein because the women look like they have improved the past few years, an above average core group but they lost some up front from last year)
4. Indiana(they are totally distmantled from the past couple years, i thought they had a good class about 4 years back but not one of them are still running for the hoosiers, a good class this year, maybe they'll hang around longer)
5. Southern Indiana(hilliard is an alright guy, he got some good recruits for a D2 school and has some solid returners, can they break into the big 5 in Indiana and get past Indiana St? I think so
6. Indiana St. (they rival the Ball St. men, who the hell is there and what are they doing?)
IUPUI,Valpo, and the rest come in 50 years later as often happens in women's races, the back end is waaaaay back
Ball State finished 6th in the Region last year (with two runners in the top ten) in probably their best performance of the season so I hardly think they were fading. Also, Stacey Ritz finished 17th in the NCAA meet - her best race of the season. Your other comments don't even deserve a response!
Barwick was there during the time Alisha was. "78" would be the year this person was born=24 years old. She's about that age. And you know she's gotta hate gartland for the way all that mess turned out.
I think I made someone mad, oh well. I hope BSU does well, as well as all other Indiana teams, but there have been a couple years where the cardinals had a chance to make nationals and fall short at the district meet. Just because one girl, one year was running well doesn't mean they've solved all of those problems. I think it was posted somewhere else that Ritz was running a far different program last year because of injuries, also. Coach Parks does a nice job with a mid-major program, but they haven't yet lived up to their potential, sorry I had an opinion on a message board!
