+1 If a walking a few steps through an aid station is what's needed to stay hydrated and to top up glycogen/sugars, it's time well spent... you can lose much more time if pace slows due to overheating or bonking later.
I ran 2:50 walking through every aid station. Get off to the side so someone doesn't slam into you - other runners may not be expecting you to slow.
