What are you talking about? We're going to talk about this person for another day or two and then we will just forget them, just like we did for any other dead person who found themselves as the subject of an LRC thread.
It's par for the course :)

I watched her channel quite a bit, I was not fan. The poor girl had mental illness, that's not her fault, but she was also really arrogant, vain, entitled, and watching her freeze her eggs was a sad affair. Plus she treated her so called boyfriend like complete crap and controlled him. I'm still convinced dude was gay because no straight male would allow himself to be disrespected like that. Dude is a total bottom.

She was completely incapable of taking responsibility for her actions in being vain and riding the c-o-c-k carousel and choosing bad men throughout her 20s, instead she blames "tinder" for why she had to freeze her eggs.

So what are they going to do with her frozen eggs after she's scootered off? Can I buy one or two?
See kids, you should wear a helmet everywhere.

I have some ocean front property in Arizona for sale if anyone wants it
"Superdave" spoofed these attention seekers before most of them were born. This one in particular comes to mind.
Honestly. Thank god for people like you. I thought everybody is becoming a snowflake with fake empathy.

Has the boyfriend been charged in her death?

Based on very little info, but a fair amount of life experience, I don't think she had a mental illness, but twisted values, world view and character. Her parents likely did not raise her right. And I'm talking about tried-and-true, time-tested, basic ideals/principles that cut across cultures, religions, history, etc. She seemed to be aggressively doing it the wrong way. That said, nobody is perfect and it's a shame she died young.

Whatever may be the case, she typifies the post-modern, post-wall 30-something single woman who was attractive in her 20's. Narcissistic, depressed, cluster-B etc..
Her E-Scooter didn't crash into a truck, she was the one who crashed while riding an E-Scooter. Details are important. Anywho, she sounds like a total self absorbed tw@t. I can't stand the whole "look at me!" Instagram, Youtube, Facebook generation anymore. And sadly I'm part of that generation.
Not trying to be an ass here but an honest question about the accident. Was she taking selfies at the time?
What's interesting is that I am not sure that even those who were regular watchers of her content know her at all.
Social media today is replacing other historical media like television, radio and print. There is an opportunity to make a living through social media by creating content which draws people in. Just as we really don't know actors of yesteryear by their television roles, we really don't know the social media personalities today as a result of familiarity with their social media personas.
Heck, I have been posting on these boards for about 3 years now, and like most regular posters, have created some sort of persona that people perceive. Whatever that perception may be, I am fairly sure that it is inconsistent with the persona perceived by others that i deal with in day to day real life.
In short, she is playing a character. What we don't really know is how consistent that character is with who she was in day to day life. She may have been a great friend and a lot of fun; she may have been a vapid shrew. Either way, as a general principle, I have no qualms with those who have figured out how to monetize a new form of technology. It is part of the way that the innovations of our world and social processes come about.
I feel for her family and friends.
I watched Emily's "10 reasons why" videos back in early 2012 when she first started making them and her channel was small. I watched them for about a year or so. She always came across as a funny, nice, good person. This is totally shocking to me. It's very sad when someone dies, particularly a young person with so much life left to live. This is the second story I've heard of someone dying from a vehicle this week, the other being boxer Pernell Whitaker.
No one is guaranteed a long life. People die suddenly and unexpectedly all the time and these incidents have served as a sad reminder of that for me. Be thankful to be alive. Incidentally I was running on the roads last week for the first time in years. I think I'll go back to the track / trails.
I hope Rojo/Wejo cleans up this thread. Many of the responses are pretty disrespectful.
