That's a question for you and your son, because that is a personal choice. Everyone has their own position and view, so we are not her to copy or follow one another. I'm generally stating that athletes dope, a large percentage of them are doping, and I don't have a problem with it. I simply view it as entertainment. I am more concerned about a priest raping boys than I am about an athlete ingesting a substance to run faster or beat his competitor.
The majority of the work population dope every morning before going to work, when they go get their dosage of caffeine. What does caffeine do? It allows one to UNNATURALLY stay awake, to focus,so that one can do his job, so that is a performance enhancer. When people go to the doctor and ask for a prescription to be able to focus better ,or to concentrate, that is doping . It's just that one is acceptable over the other. Society is something else, isn't it? Something being legal or illegal is simply based on a vote of opinions - just look at Cannabis. It has now been legalized. Is it any different than it was 30 or 50 years ago? No. So what changed? The perception towards the substance changed, just the perception towards liquor changed, even that is changing. Millennials are preferring not to drink liquor, and are opting more for cannabis drinks and cannabis based energy drinks.
.
It's all about perception, which is why sports organization are looking into possibly making HGH legal for recovery and healing purposes when a player is out injured.
You even have it where one substance is legal in one sport, but illegal in another.
So the difference between illegal and legal, is just a matter of human perception, because that is how laws are made or what they are based on.
