Miltenberg lands one of 2018’s top in-state talents. UNC also has Dolan Owens, a 4:03 miler and the NBNO 1 Mile Champ. I would say that this is a step in the right direction.

Actually Bobby and Andrea did that. Hopefully Miltenberg sends them a thank you card.
and...
This kid will burnout in the UNC program.... Terrible choice. This is pretty much the last time you will hear the John Tatter name. Should of gone to Michigan or Colorado.
Why the transfer from Michigan? He seemed to be doing well, and Sullivan seems like a great coach who has developed a lot of the runners

Just the opposite, Milt doesn’t burn out runners he develops them. For those with the physical and mental talent needed he hands them off to run at the next level.
Sully putting a cult together and not everyone buys in. Don’t believe they qualified a single person to the NCAA meet this Spring.
John Tatter is the worst. His best running days are behind him...hang up the spikes son.
John Tatter is a strange kid but will do just fine at unc. Seems foolish to have left Michigan for unc given what he was walking into however I think he got a bit lucky with the change.

Almost every athlete Milt has touched ends up injured and a cry baby. But I guess John fits the profile well.

He didn’t agree with sully training (running extra when coming back from injury, running extra before races, etc) and was also extremely homesick
Sully has proven to be able to recruit (though Michigan is probably one of the easiest University's to do so. But I believe that many of these recruits have not developed. 10k and steeple NCAA Champions, but seemed to be built off a lot of carnage from some great runners/transfers.

Yeah, Fisher and McGorty and truly awful, aren't they

Sounds like you have issues, hate Milt and probably Stanford University as well.
Not every athlete progresses as well as they, their coach and others may hope for.
Making it to the NCAA and then consistently competing at the highest level of competition is commendable. What is rare, is when athlete and coach then take ones talents to the next level.
Recently, Milt and four of his athletes have had such success. McGorty, Fraser, Baker, and recently Fisher.
Why do you disrespect coach and athletes that are doing their collective bests to be the best they can be?
What have you done lately or at all?

Someone didn't see that UNC got a new coach

He also failed to realize that Tatter initially went to one of those schools and hated it - he is transferring OUT of Michigan.
Problem is that every runner from RJ Reynolds ends up sucking in college.
Every year college freshmen transfer after disliking their experience. Usually it is a naive young person who lacks maturity and perspective on college life in general. Michigan has had several transfers into the program the last few years, so I guess it goes both ways now.
Anyway let the personal attacks commense! Nothing like some juicy gossip and name calling from people who you thought were your friends.
An extremely talented and homesick 19 year old transfers back home to a University with great academics, great facilities and nearby trail systems, and now, a great coach who’s going to instill a great culture and build something great for the University of National Champions.

Every coach that's recruited in NC knows to stay away from R.J. Reynolds athletes.
I thought that the school you stay away from is Mt. Tabor, not Reynolds? Tatter will immediately make UNC better in xc.
