Women like masculine men. And conversely men like feminine women. No amount of liberal social engineering or propaganda is going to change that.
Other than perhaps some infinitesimally small percentage of people on the extreme margin, who claims otherwise?

Talk about it.
Yes, some women like it; like some women like a bald guy or a guy with a beer belly but almost ALL women prefer clean shaven men with minimal body hair.
If you go the bearded route you better have the lean, buff body and style to be able to carry it off.
They like their male friend-zone friends to be clean shaven. Women want their friends to look like they do when they go shopping together.
lack of beard
but then again, beards are not for everyone
Breads are definitely a status symbol. OP, you're facial hair obviously makes you one handsome, tough and smart SOB.

Gives me a idea, Beards and Breads. For masculine men who like to bake.
Ungroomed it can make you look like you are very lazy, like the only reason you have a beard is so you don't have to shave, not that you care how you look.
I'm 50 and when I grew mine out I think it made me look 60, it was SO gray. I don't want to look older than I am, also it was very itchy.

People who think that beards are a reflection of laziness are very old and soft. I'm not surprised that you are 60. I'm guessing you work hard putting on your makeup every day.
Thing with beards is the majority either can't grow one (yet try to pull it off) or don't care for it. 3 basic points.
1. The worst are probably the 17 to 24 year-olds who force beards even though it's patchy, mostly only grows under the chin, or just looks like crap altogether. Either wait until you're older or just shave the face completely & regularly.
2. The individuals with the soul patch or thin mustache or the long goatee. Just don't.
3. People who don't shave the outer areas or trim their beard regularly. You just let it all grow, the same length. This looks lazy & disgusting. Aaron Rodgers (see below) & Andrew Luck do this during the season all the time where they'll go a week or 2 & not touch a razor. They have neck hair that simply makes them look like a lazy 20 year-old who lives in a dorm & hasn't showered for 4 days. I trim my beard 2-3x a week & shave the area under the lip, as well as the neck area every other day. I'd say that's a minimum. If you aren't going to bother with that, then don't grow a beard.
I have an opinion on hipsters beardstule and most of my friends don't like or not agree with it...
The nly worthy hipster beard is accurately groomed beard. It has to be clean, well-styled and shiny. If it's not -- it's cheap show-of (if not a trash). And accurate beard care considering oils, serums, combs and conditioners using. Also trimming and grooming quite often.
In Monica's blog(
), for example, where recently appeared some topicks on most up-to-date actual products that most of the so-called hipsters never heard of one. Sometimes men just confusing notions of using grooming and styling products with being gay... and even don't have even a glimpse on a real conception of both sides.
Being gay doesn't inevitably include styling, grooming and all that, but being a hipster -- does. IMO, of course.

Thats because a beard makes a man's face look like a big vagina.
But why on earth would a man want his face to look like a big vagina?!?!
The only vagina you've ever seen is the one you came out of.

You are ugly with our without a beard, so if I were you I would focus on developing your personality, which is also at a zero, but at least that's something you can work on.

Men may give you more respect because your beard is a symbol that you are unlikely to fight with or kill them.
There is a theory that at some point in human history warriors, fighters, knights, etc. would shave off their otherwise naturally grown beards since beards were a liability in hand-to-hand combat. When you grab someone by their beard you control them.
More civilized men (men of reason, honor, intellect and order), would retain their beards as a non-threatening symbol that they were more passive and non-violent. Men with beards were more willing to reason and cooperate with others instead of fighting.
Facial hair later became seen as unclean, so the men of reason started wearing what became known as neckties as non-threatening symbols. A long necktie is a type of beard substitute.
In today's society it is more acceptable to have a much shorter groomed beard while wearing a necktie. But men with long beards do not wear neckties as that type of symbolism is unnecessary.
You may be exaggerating but I'm sure it covered your lack of chin and jawline, so...
