In the U.S., some fans take tours of every major league baseball stadium. Has anyone done the same for historic track venues?
Thus far I've visited Oslo, Monaco and Eugene. Any advice on which others to visit or avoid?
How about some of the non-Diamond League venues where meets are still held, such as Helsinki or Rieti?
Definitely got to zurich. It's truly first class. Go to Lausanne and enjoy the Swiss hospitality. Try Rabat just to experience such a drastic change of culture. Skip Birmingham. London is cool just to be in the Olympic stadium.
Agree on Zurich. I went in 2017 and they put on an outstanding meet. Cool city, cool stadium, top-quality competition, and a cool fireworks display/mini-concert after the meet. Totally worth it.
Also agree on skipping Birmingham. Stadium was out of date, not much atmosphere. Maybe it will be better after renovations for the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
