It's amazing how many good actors are out there relative to the few "superstars", who often are not very good actors, like Harrison Ford. Take basically the entire cast of Breaking Bad. Very few of them where known before BB, or ever after BB. They are AMAZING actors and you don't really notice it. That's the key. You only notice it when you watch something else and then you see that it's not so easy. Breaking Bad, the Wire, Sopranos, Bosch, and a few others. The nuance, the little things, the understated little movements, the tone, facial expressions, etc. They ARE their characters. By contrast, so much acting out there is stiff, theatrical, etc.
