Amos 1:41:89!!!!
Amos 1:41:89!!!!
Ohhh Coevett that has to hurt with Rotich shredding his PB by .3 for 1:42.54 and Saruni looking fresh in his first race in months with a 1:43.7.Kenya's looking pretty, pretty good.
48.7 400m split, 1:41.89 finish. woah
Rotich with a PB of 1:42:5 in 2nd and a host of PBs and SBs getting pulled by the front 2.
Don't ignore the triple jump battle. 17.76 for Taylor to 17.75 for Claye through 2 rounds
Incredible 800 meter.
Back to the 1500 meter, Filip says he will run a mile in London next week, even if I cannot find it in the program, and Jakob will run 5000.
Hahaha. I guess Brazer is no longer even in the top 3 in the world. Bye bye to the 15 minutes of fame.
Amos really knows how to dig deep and he also looks like it at the end!

Two guys from Brighton (Ovett and Grice) have now run 3:30. How many cities can say that? Population of 229,000.
It's the genes, lol.
Yeah, it is amazing. Grice's time was actually faster than Ovett's. So Steve isn't even the Brighton record holder anymore!
Already Monaco has delivered another great meet.
Now we can just enjoy the rest of the evening (morning in the USA)

While by time you might technically be correct, I have a feeling if Brazier was in this race he would have run pretty fast.
The Emsley Carr mile is on the Sunday and the 5000m on the Saturday

For some reason it was refreshing to see Amos really digging deep those last 80m. His left arm was going crazy lol

Bosse?!? He's got some work to do. Wasn't this his first race of the year?
Nobody's listening to you psycho.
This was his first Monaco for 3 years when he was 21 and ran 3:33.

Very suspicious indeed, similar to Mo Farah's 1500 progression:
2013 3:28.81
2012 3:34.66
2009 3:33.98
2008 3:39.66
