Don’t sleep on Kebenei. He broke the US 10 mile record earlier this year. No way Evan has that kind of fitness

Not really.

If he's really only been running 40 days (I'm always skeptical when I hear these things), and he wins, that's certainly a byproduct of quality doping methods. Not physiotherapy. Not talent. Not good training. Not experience. Not a weak US field.
so I guess when Joan Benoit won the oly marathon trials after knee surgery 17 days prior that was good drugs too.

That was also the first person that popped into my head as well.

+1
My money’s on the 8:08 guy who actually lines up.
Or, you know, the other 8:08 (Bor) who also races.
I’m going with Bor.
1314 indoors and make world cross
That’s some strength for a steepler
Best of luck to Evan, but trying to get back in shape doesn’t win versus best shape of life
I’d look for a 828-9 guy to bump up in there
Late entries for USATF close tonight, Jager’s not entered as of now.

Bummer.
Looks like Jager is out for sure.
Dang. A lot of Bowerman injuries...
McGorty
Infeld
Looks like Lopez is the only one healthy.
So they have him tripling!
Listened to Jonathan's interview last night and this a.m.
NO way Jager wins this one, probably won't even finish. If he does a barrier tune-up prior to the race, he's probably out another few months.
body can't handle the steeple, needs to move up to the 10000 for 2020 or switch coaches if he does the marathon.
Jager needs to do a Pat Porter.
Switch to Mizuno, as Nike clearly had no idea what was wrong with him until it was too late, then run pointless road races now and then, and focus on XC/CC. Too bouncy for marathons.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Running for Bowerman Track Club used to be cool now its embarrassing
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
Rest in Peace Adrian Lehmann - 2:11 Swiss marathoner. Dies of heart attack.
