How long do all the Lions, tigers, and dogs live? 15 years
Horses? 28 to 40 years
Chimps? 55 years
Elephants? 60 to 90 years
Strength, endurance, longevity go to the plant eaters.
Meat eaters gain their energy after it's already been recycled through a plant eater.
Excellent points by Sage.
I’ll add a bit to it.
Vitamin B-12 is formed by a bacteria that blankets the earth. We used to get plenty from drinking untreated water. But now since we treat our water vegans must take B-12. 80% of all B-12 supplements go to cattle and other animals eaten by humans. Also, the ADA recommends all adults regardless of diet take B-12 after age 50, since our absorption declines with age.
Unless you live by the equator and spend hours shirtless per day, you probably aren’t getting enough vitamin D. People who live near the poles should take it regardless of diet.

Keep believing that vegan propaganda.

Lions , Tigers and Dogs on vegetables? Not good.
Elephants? 60 to 90 years < Humans omnivores 60-120+.

There's a shark that lives 400 years.

The chimps are much more efficient. Amazing.
Chimps and humans are both omnivores though. Humans are not carnivores.
Great white sharks live 70+ years.

Sharks have jumped this thread.
Plus, chimps eat about 50 percent fruit, and therefore are not fruitarian.
Humans also naturally eat quite a bit of fruit, and most human populations have not been meat based.
That happens usually only in very cold countries, where no other sources of food are available.
Chimps live in warm tropical countries, where fruit is usually quite abundant.
"Saltwater crocodiles usually live for 70 years, while some have been found to live for 100."
"The oldest-recorded crocodile was a freshwater crocodile named "Mr. Freshie." He was rescued in 1970 from poachers and placed in the Australia Zoo, where he died in 2010 at the presumed age of 120-140."

Several species of whales live close to or over a hundred years, with one species living up to 200 years old.
I actually think most vegans/vegetarians generally have higher education/more advanced degrees on average. They probably also have higher incidences of mental illness as well (perhaps related to vitamin B12 deficiency, but also perhaps related to the fact that those with higher IQs often suffer a high incidence of mental illness I'd imagine). I believe that a whole foods plant based diet can help reduce rates of obesity, type II diabetes and cancer...as well as heart disease. Whatever, though...as most people like to say "correlation doesn't imply causation." I do believe that epidemiologic studies can provide quite convincing evidence though...depending on controls obviously. For sure at this day and age it helps to have wealth and live in places like Boulder (to be eating a minority vegan diet and eat healthy foods in general). No doubt humans evolved as omnivores...esp as we moved away from the equator (less tropical fruits etc). Carbs have always been an important energy source and of course we ate whatever we could find to survive! However, at this day and age there is no reason most people can't thrive on a whole foods, plant-based (even vegan!) diet IMO. Essential amino acids, vitamins/minerals, fatty acids and a mix of macros (protein/fat/carbs) can be derived from many sources. As global warming/climate change will put pressure on food distribution (along with overpopulation demands) it is quite likely that shifting to a more plant-based diet will become a necessity for the human population in the future. Eventually the "true cost of beef" will be realized and the price will likely go up. Not everybody in the world is going to be able to afford "grass organic fed beef" and it is generally way less sustainable than many other food sources.

No tribe or civilization has eaten eaten a vegan diet. It is deficient. Look up Nutrition and Physical Degeneration by Weston A. Price, and the importance animal nutrition is to human health. Man cannot live on bread alone.
Don't lose touch with how we were in nature wrote:

What in holy hell, you're basing your info on a Canadian Dentist from the 1930's?

That and this:

Human biology hasn't changed much in the last hundred or so years.
You can try to deny nature. But it won't workout that well for you.
