Exactly. People on this board that accuse him of the original age cheating can't also accuse him of age cheating on the other end of the spectrum.
Haters need to pick their poison.

Just as well cite the National Enquirer or UFO News as Running World...

Probably has to do with the low mileage. Dude has mastered getting the most out of every step.
Physically, Lagat may be the closest to perfect human specimen the world has ever seen as a runner. He’s an anomaly. A freak. Beautiful to watch and most of us will probably never see as physically ideal of a runner again in our lives.
His form and proportions are pretty much as good as you can get.
They also said that about Kiprop. ?

It must be all genetics. I'm near 60 and people tell me l look like I'm in my early 70's. ? And I take care of myself with eating very healthy, jogging, strength training, etc.

Don't be so gullible. It is probably a hair-piece, a sun-lamp, some cosmetic surgery and dim lighting - and friends telling him what he signals he wants to hear. It is also certainly vanity. Looks matter, even at 60, to some more than others.

Love it, nothing like a good steak after a hard training run.

Kenyans (and Ethios) are typically tiny in large part because of their meat-deprived diet while growing up (Lagat is actually fairly "large" at 5'8"/134), but that helps with longer distances and they can ride the rocket fuel of high carb and sugar through their 20's. By 30 most are used up except a few outliers like Eliud (I suspect that he is radically disciplined in restricting his diet and fasting/fat burning on a daily basis).
Lagat has clearly switched to a more sustainable diet with plenty of red meat, getting the best of both worlds. Ethios seem to eat more red meat once they can afford it, and also seem to have better career longevity. The key might be for them to upgrade their diet once they make some money, and not just keep shoveling the carbs (and PEDs), which are effectively like the dietary equivalent of Nazi "wonder weapons" in WWII: shoot straight up, fire your munitions, then come crashing down.
