How do runners get free gear from running companies. Do they send it based on times you've run, our do you have to have an interest in signing a contract? Just looking for a way to get some free stuff and save some $$$

Hang around a good running store. Praise the employees on their times. Help stock for free. Bring them a deli platter during busy times. When you have thoroughly ingratiated yourself to them, and they are used to your presence, steal them blind.
First, I dont appreciate the sarcasim throwing my name around, second, sure running companies are very nice, as for myself I am a huge asics fan, I simply wrote them a letter and they sent me some nice world performance singlets, just a way of saying thank you, G-push did the same thing, gave me some t-shirts, it's simply just a company hiring an extra cheap marketing person, actually a great idea, it does not violate any NCAA rules. God Bless,
Nick
