Why is this team acting like it’s never been here before?
You’re the best team in the world, even though England was the better team, and should have won. They missed a penalty and a sitter.
My, my, this team is beyond arrogant. This isn’t club level or el Clasico, where anything goes. This is the World Cup, where nations show respect to other nations.
We don’t need to reflect the foolery or our president.
And the comment that they also have the second best team in the tourney?
The men don’t do that. You don’t see classless stuff like that from the men’s World Cup.
England was the better team? If the US didn't move to 5 on the back line, a little too early in my opinion but it worked, they would have score at least 2 more.
The US was the better side but England was easily the best team they've played in the tournament. This really should have been the final.
Now that set aside, I'm sorry that the USWNT doesn't fit your expectations of shrinking violets but there is a lot to like about this team; they are players. You'd better come out swinging or they will beat you over and over again. They tough and relentless.
Another note about this team, they have a lot of great players on their team that have yet to see any significant playing time. Credit to the Coach for keeping them engaged and motivated.
