she has graduated (with a 4.00) so going to a different university for graduate school shouldn't be considered transferring.

ok, great. It's just a little clunky to write: "Is she going pro or has she graduated (with a 4.00) and not transferring but enrolling in a different school for graduate studies?" -
more interested in Mount Marathon this Thursday. Rosie Frankowski will rocket to the top (and is a scaredy cat going down), perhaps rabbiting Ostrander to a CR.

i was wondering if she was running that.....assumed not since she's got Pan AM games and US trials this summer -

Wildfire smoke has been hanging over Mount Marathon area. Hopely the winds will shift, but if they don't, expect a lot of DNSs.

At the moment, the evening before the race, the air quality in Seward is in the good range for air quality index. PM2.5 is the main concern. Hopefully stays in the good range. It will be hot though! One past hot year, the race leaders in both the men's and women's races collapsed very close to the finish with rhabdo.
Allie probably hasn't had enough time in the mountains this year (downhill leg toughening). Here's what she said last weekend:
“I’m probably not going to race Mount Marathon since I’m in the middle of my track season, but you never know,” Ostrander texted Saturday before battling the world’s best steeplechasers at the Prefontaine Classic on Sunday and finishing 13th, and before announcing Tuesday that she would turn pro.
