I liked seeing her stay with the leaders for as long as she could. More distance runners have to do that- put yourself out there and take a risk. It paid off for her.

She ran 63 high pace for the first 300, 65, 65, then 64. Those are the splits you want for a 1500m. Very even. A lot of the women fell off on that 3rd lap.

Hopefully she wasn't too far along in any contract negotiations where the $'s were finalized. If they weren't finalized, figure she probably added a little value yesterday to whatever she does end up signing.
