He must have thought he'd broken the WR too. I couldn't believe it when I saw him take off with over a lap to go. For a moment it looked like we were back in the full throttle EPO era.

i dont know if chelimo can trouble the five who beat him when the world final rolls around?
-
I have nothing to say, I just had to do it!!
(see handle) -
Gebrhiwhet takes off with 700 meters to go thinking he had 300 to go. Kejelcha sort of went with him. Geb managed to get back in the race after 'crossing the line' and getting 10th.

One of the 4 Ethiopians won't make the team and Cheptegei won't run it so that only leaves 3 -

You gotta be kidding. Can't make that mistake.
Hagos Gebrehewit takes off with 700 to go thinking it was his last lap -

What is the fuzz about the sprinting?
I always take a dump or something for anything shorter than 400m. -
like fantu worku last year, except it was 200 to go in a 3000

Devon Allen DFL after a 7th place finish in the 110H. Hasn't run fast since the '16 Trials. Not sure how he took Outdoor Champs last year.

He tends to do better in non-rabbitted races. -

What'd you expect? He ran the flat 100. Not his primary event. -

the 1500 looks like Cheruiyot, Soulieman, jakob I., v.kibet, and birgen could be the top 5.
I think Jakob could be ready to take Soulieman and close the gap further on potato Tim.
Also think that Filip and maybe Jake Wightman will take Birgen.
Birgen finished 9th in the Prefontaine Classic, 10th in Oslo, was a long way back in Stockholm. He ran a 3:33 in an exceptionally fast season opener at dogy Doha, but apart from that has looked mid-pack.
Wightman looked very good over 800m the other day.
birgen is 5th in DL standings -
800m - 1.49.4!
