Every state with a significant amount of electoral votes gives all of their electoral votes to the winner, regardless of margin.
The electoral college is one big gerrymander.

Warren gains support every time another billionaire complains about her plans (or enters the race against her).

No.
The lines that divide the states do not periodically change with each census like they do with districts within each sate.
We've had the same 50 states with the same borders for the last 60 years.
States will gain or lose representatives if their populations relative to the whole of the US goes up or down significantly.

I wonder what would happen if and when Sanders bows out.
He can only be President for two terms, so when that time comes, we'll need to find another Progressive to replace him.
Man who successfully navigated the electoral college process to win the White House not once but twice gets it.

Possibly.
California has 40,000,000 people for 55 electoral votes = 727,000 people per electoral vote.
Wyoming has 577,000 people for 3 votes = 192,000 people per electoral vote.
USA population 327,000,000 for 538 votes = 608,000 people per electoral vote.
Maybe it could be argued that small red states have an outsized impact on the election.
In the latest poll Buttigieg soars to the top in Iowa. Warren dropped 6 points. Biden dropped a bit and Bernie gained some. Despite major effort Harris has dropped even further and Klobuchar is hanging in there and passed Harris.
Obama took a swipe at Warren and Sanders by saying the Democratic party shouldn't move too far left.
I think the Democrat moderates will grow stronger. Warren will falter somewhat and Bernie is getting a vote from angry people who want to send a message but he will not win.
Klobuchar is smart and seasoned and I like her very much but she may not have the Charisma to win. Either Biden or Buttigieg or Klobuchar would do a fine job as president. If Buttigieg wins the nomination the republicans would flood the internet with pictures of him and his husband, but Buttigieg is the most well spoken of all.
Bloomberg is very good too but the Democratic party won't want a white, older male who is a billionaire.I
We could see a brokered covention. Bernie could throw his support to Warren. That would put the moderates in a tough position at the convention.
Buttigieg's cleverly worded slogan that he wants, "Medicare for all for those who want it" resonates with people and has hurt Warren.
Buttigieg's could be a ground breaking nomination. Just as Obama changed people's perception of a black man's chances of winning Buttigieg's might to the same for gays. He certainly doesn't fit the gay stereotype that many still believe.
His nomination might be risky. Since I think his being gay is a nonissue, it's hard for me to gauge or understand how much of a factor it would be for independent voters. The far right who are bigoted toward gays wouldn't vote Democrat anyway.
He is also considerably younger. Pete will turn 38 in January. If he won, he'd turn 39 the day before swearing in. Youngest president ever, by four years (JFK was 43).
Yep that is young, it would be better if he was mid 40's.

It would be even better if he didn't pull this crap:

Are all you leftist America-hating fascists crying in your corn flakes over Trump pardoning the type of men you hate? You know, brave men who fight for your right to be sniveling ungrateful cowards?
Trumpundrum is back, with his "unbiased" analysis.

When did Trump pardon Julian Assange?

Meanwhile, legions of blue collar Trumpettes elected a billionaire president thinking he represents one of them. Tells you most of what you need to know about his followers!

People on both sides have been deluded for quite a long time.
