Support? I find it hard to believe that the total amount of government grants to private colleges is equal to the total amount of tuition paid to public universities from students. But I'm willing to be wrong.
I feel federal government gives a lot of grant money to private colleges and private universities. Do not forget subsidized student loans for students to attend private colleges & private universities. We can look at the French model. They have a system for tuition free public colleges and public universities. The only way France was able to achieve their goal of tuition free public universities was by 100% cutting off private colleges and private universities.
Know if Sanders were president and public universities were tuition free, college football and college basketball coaches would no longer earn over one million per year as some do now.
