You can’t create a tax code and budget that relies on random people donating extra tax.
In order for it to work you have to a tax code that makes all wealthy people pay more.

These aren’t random people.
They are US Senators who are running for POTUS.
They have a multi milllion dollar net worth and they still take a govt salary of $174k/year.
They hate on “rich people” all day long and claim to be representing the low-income blue collar folks.
I don’t know. ?

Senator Sanders should not be lumped in with your analysis of hypocritical millionaires. You must believe in many or most of what Sanders is stating if you cannot attack him for anything more than he has been able to save some money over the years and Senator Sanders made most of his money from a book deal, a signing bonus.
Senator Sanders has not stated he hates rich people. Senator Sanders knows this nation functions better when multimillionaires and billionaires are taxed at a higher rate than they are today. Do not be confused by booming U.S. equity markets. Stock market value is not the same as g.d.p. (Gross Domestic Product). When tax cuts are given to multimillionaires and billionaires, multi-millionaires and billionaires will place more money in equity markets. The final numbers are not yet available, but U.S. g.d.p. growth for 2019 will be between (2.0 to 2.2)% growth. That is very weak growth.
In U.S., we need modern airports, high speed rail connecting all large cities and rail service in all large cities. One would think the multimillionaires and billionaires of Let'srun would love rail service. Rail service will mean fewer vehicles on the roads.

There's a difference between exploiting workers to become wealthy or saving and investing for 30+ years to become wealthy. Any white collar or union worker in his 60s should have a decent net worth like Sanders, especially if you're married to another professional.
Cory Booker has ended his campaign,
He was my top choice.
He was also the most established of the top 10 or so candidates under 70.
Buttigieg, Klobuchar, Harris etc. were generally new to the national scene in the last year.
We are down to old people and people that most people hadn't heard about four years ago.
Cory Booker has just dropped out.
Democrats lose again!!!!
I'm hoping for a Warren/Booker ticket.

Truer words have never been spoken.
How about Bloomberg and Steyer The Billionaire Team?

Why did he say he suspended his campaign? Why not just say he’s dropped out?

Two points:
1) I fail to see the point of candidates starting a campaign for U.S. president one year prior to Iowa Caucus to then drop out before facing caucus goers in Iowa. It would be similar to an elite Marathoner failing to race Berlin or London due to failing to run ten mile tempo runs faster than 47:30.
2) Stacey Abrams is the most likely vice presidential candidate for whomever. With proper early voter registration & turnout, Georgia is possible in 2020.
I'm not sure why candidates drop out right before a primary or caucus.
Booker may want to endorse someone like Warren the way Castro did, instead of having votes divided up.
A large group of Republicans stayed in for a while four years ago, splitting a lot of the votes, giving Trump a number of wins without a majority.
I can see Abrams running with Biden but not Warren.
Senile Quid Pro Joe will NEVER be POTUS.
I'd be up for a younger/older ticket:
Klobuchar/Sanders
Buttigieg/Warren
But Biden isn't going do another VP run.
It will be interesting to see who Booker backs, if anyone.

Or Julian Castro/Beto O'Rourke to try to flip Texas.
The Democrats just need Florida and PA.
Every other state will just be electoral vote padding of a landslide victory.
The popular vote margin will be over 5 million.
Can anyone think of a Hillary state that Trump could flip?
Another one bites the dust!

Tomorrow's debate will be:
Joe Biden
Pete Buttigieg
Amy Klobuchar
Bernie Sanders
Tom Steyer
Elizabeth Warren
Steyer used some quirk to qualify but replace him with Bloomberg and those are your only 6 with a shot at this.
As crazy large as the field was at first, it will be about half the size of what the Republicans started with four years ago.
The big race is between Bernie and Elizabeth.
If one does clearly better early on than the other, will the other bow out and endorse the leader of the two.
Or, will they stay neck-and-neck splitting votes and giving an edge to Joe or helping Pete hang in there.
Amy needs something big early on or she's gone.
Bloomberg is going to make anti-Trump ads all year long regardless of where he finishes in any of the primaries.
