you have half it right.
world class have schedules and a good coach is in tourch with the athlete and changes according to conditions.
most coaches are pretty lousy in this regard.
if you have a good schedule and you are healthy, then you'll feel good at the right time.
the problem is that people become a slave to the schedule.
so you make a schedule as a guide.
but when you do line up for a hard workout, you do it. man up. crush it.
then make sure you recover
