I thought the split screen was a nice touch too!
I don't if anyone else had this experience, but when the announcer said they were going to commercial break but, "we won't miss a thing" literally a couple of mins into the steeple, I got super pissed and literally said out loud "wtf you mean im not going to miss anything??" And then they did the split screen and I immediately felt like my reaction was completely unnecessary... lol

Yeah, on one of the jumps. It was more of a trip though.

This isn’t a scene.
Yuck. That race was slow as crap.
Bowie is still not in form, not even close. She has been out for about 2 years.
Richardson and Hobbs are overrated as hell.
Fraser ran a lot during the jamaican trials, so it was a given that she was going to run slow. I think that is why Elaine skipped it.
Ta lou winning is not an upset NBC! ..

Coburn a clear 2nd but at least 10 seconds back.
,,,,and they just showed that Emma had a big stumble on backstretch. Thought Colleen and Courtney would be right on her at the finish, but no sign of either.
Huge fall 5:41 into the race for Coburn. She didn't stumble. She hit the deck going over a hurdle.

Anyone scene goals for the pacers??
They are on Twitter. Men’s mile running 56.0 pace.
Can't believe TaLou won the 100 and SAFP and Richardson ran so poorly.

What are the odds the Brojos will get caught in the college admissions scandal?
Split screen is good but then those assholes show us the winner hunched over after the race instead of showing us the finish line so we could see the rest of the finishers. Screw NBC. They suck.

What a site. Serous journalism *and* civil debate.
Is Edward Cheserek update?
I had hoped he'd be in this 2 mile.
State owned television without commercials are so much better, we (NRK; Norway) saw and got comment of the fall as it happened.
USA women's sprinting is hurting right now
- Bowie has been away for a long time. I don't think she is going get her form back quick enough to be able to compete
for the WC
Hobbs and Richardson - NOPE..don't see it...maybe Richardson.
- Gardner coming back from a huge knee injury, and was never a big big threat.
Ronald Kwemoi, first diamond league race in how long? He has ran some decent 5/10 k times in Japan in recent times.
Ok for the 2 mile. If Barega doesn't got with the pace (8;02 pace) everyone is going toirate. Apparently, he's the only one that wanted a hot pace so some people were telling JG behind the scenes they'd be irate if he doesn't go for it.

what do you mean you can't believe ta lou won? She is the WC Silver medalist, and destroyed the diamond last year. She is a 10.8 runner.
Ivory Coast women dominated sprinting last yea.
It took Paul Chelimo approximately 35 seconds to look over his shoulders for the first time in the 2 mile.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
