In the race between the race, Efraimson vs JOnes, we have a disappointing out come. Efraimson "won" but only in 4:06. I was hoping for much faster from both of them.

Kate Grace 4:02.99 PB
Mouth full of braces. Not fishy at all...

Yeah Kipyegon is still going to win in 2019 and 2020, she's just to strong and already easily winning in her first race since child birth. She even looked over her shoulder to see what she needed to do. Houlighan could've stolen that but let the leaders get to fair away before starting her kick.
Shelby has to learn how to run a whole race, instead of depending on her 200m speed. It will not be left to that against Kipyegon and Dibaba.
Lasitskene has jumped 2.06 twice in her life. Good for her. She is still a loooooong way off of the 2.09 WR. Tim Hutchings should know better.
The announcers still haven’t figured out that this is a slow track for sprints. I predict a 9.95 winning time.
Please Mr. Director it's not a Hollywood drama we don't need reaction shots from the winners, just show us the finish of all racers. Also if you're going to have multiple simultaneous events how hard is it do a split screen?

Jessica Hull 4:02! Ahead of Kate Grace!

Wouldn't it be awesome to watch the 'whole' race and see ALL the runners finish WITH a clock !
I don't really get the need for this. In horse racing or car racing, they don't show the cars or horses after the winner comes by. You can look up how the others do. Show the top few across the line and that's all that's needed.
In the steeple should they just keep filming until Allie O finishes even though it's 30 seconds after the winner? What about the 5k?
You had 9 P.R.s set in a race earlier and we only get to see the one? Do these other 8 athletes have any fans at all watching? Or is it just the winner who has them all. Is our attention span so short these days we can't watch the other runners cross the finish line?

NIKE is going to be really suspect now.
That german chick has always been weak to me. Now she look strong as hell.
Me, I believe Nike would never dare to go on the illegal side, I might be wrong, but I am also amazed about the mistrust when enormous amounts of resources are put into the athletes; better reults caused by good training in all aspects including science is plausible.
Didn't Nike allegedly pay the cycling Union to keep Lance Armstrong from being busted
Damn Coleman 9.80, sprints are becoming interesting again
Not a Gatlin fan, but what a race for him. Dayum.

Wow. Insert foot in mouth. Incredible run by Coleman. 9.80 with a very slight headwind according to the graphic.
Bummer, I was really hoping Gatlin would blow a hammy. He is pumped so full of drugs, he’ll be racing til he’s 55.

Fantastic run for Coleman. And Gatlin goes 9.87.
Jessica Hull 4:02, much faster than at NCAA's. If she didn't go pro, she'd be #2 all time in NCAA.
That's huge. Oregon coaches doing an amazing job.

No. They don't deserve credit for their terrible coverage. The only good thing about the coverage has been the split screen. The announcers are god awful. I don't know if they are even watching the races sometimes. In the 100m they didnt even mention talou until the race was over even though she was leading the whole race!
Terrible coverage in all ways wrote:
Only if you like a 10 percent screen of the race, and 90 percent gibberish garbage and with absolutely no coverage.
Marcus Siepen wrote:
True. It is only good in that it is better than just going to a commercial and missing it completely. It still sucks that they dont cover the race in full as they should. Screw NBC.
They should do the same thing for the American pastime sports, and see how well that goes across.
Why does coleman need one arm sleeve?
