Well, can't say a lot of people are surprised
Looking forward to watching him race 3 times a year.

Smart move by BTC. This reminds me of one of those college teams giving a scholarship to the little brother to get the big brother or hiring the dad as the assistant coach to get the prized recruit.
The big fish is Tom Ratcliffe's son, Thomas. So they throw a bone to Thomas friend Grant (who is represented by Tom) and Thomas will follow in a few years.
;) I'm saying this all with a smile on my face.
Beaverton should change its name to Palo Alto del Norte.
I look forward to him getting overtrained, injured and rarely ever racing.
Awesome news! Is Grant the first Canadian to join BTC or are there other Canucks up there already?

Thomas Ratcliffe seems injury prone, there’s no way that he would survive at BTC.
Will he follow Chris Derrick’s less than spectacular results?

Very boring runner goes to very boring men's group. I feel a long sustained yawn coming on.
Can’t believe the meat head comments by posters on this thread including the fool that is part of LetsRun.
Look for Fisher to go 3:32 & 13:00 flat soon.
Did the word flat really needed to be added on after 13:00? This is a site full of running enthusiasts, so I think we all assumed it was 13:00, not 13:36 or 13:25.
Great news.
Excellent coach and group of athletes for Grant.
Nike is the gold standard, Stanford is the gold standard, Fisher is the gold standard. Therefore, Fisher going to BTC along with McGorty already there and hopefully Radcliffe and other top young American talent going to BTC in the future makes BTC the gold standard.
Major swing pick up for BTC. Having Fisher in its line up will cause other top guys to want to go there. Makes Nike’s job a little easier.

Gold standard
It’s seems like all the white North American men never even consider the best distance training group in the US.
Afraid of the lions?

Seems weird since Jerry initially brought so many of his Wisco guys to his group but now he really is Chris Miltenberg's finishing school.
