Rodgers 10.04 beat de grasse 10.05 in the 100
34.41 WR
22.4 through 200 I believe. Supreme form
Wow. Purdy tables equate that to 21.7 and 48.8

CC is WAY faster than ADG at the moment.
ADG has that light weight, and throws his hands downward that gives him an "easy" sustained speed, but CC is a brute. He has the acceleration, the top end, and enough headroom to ease off a bit in the curve and therefore have some left for the straight.
I will take CC in this one, but ADG is coming on, for sure. Will be interesting to see how each of them runs the race. I guess CC is serious about the 200, so he might be unlikely to use this as just a training run.
ADG could still do well this year. I remember when Lemaitre was delivering mediocre 200 times in 1 or 2 seasons, and ended up medaling at majors, or at least making the final, despite not having a scorching SB.
Geezer, Coleman wants to double at the world’s, do you think he makes team USA in the 200?

Bahamas night in Ostrava, 44.95
Bahrain second, 45.86, bednarek 6th. Oh well, it’s all experience.
Mile next, then the 200

Da’vall ?? 3.56.95
are they going to cancel this 200? Looks like it's pouring
Feed I'm watching sad delaying, but now it just switched to showing them at 200m in warm ups. ??
They're lined up now
Coleman had a huge lead at 100.
Won't spoil it for those whose feed is behind.
What do I know? Simbine just came 4th! Must have been the travel, Rodgers and ADG having stayed in europe.
Top 2 are sub-10, considering the headwind. Quite an impressive comeback from ADG, I didn’t see this quality of 100 in his recent 200
ADG didn't look like anything special in the 100 but in those not great conditions that's impressive. He might be back (in the 200 at least).
I’m going to watch delayed on tv, so i’m going to cut out now, dammit!

A bit heartbreaking to see M. Kibet overtaken in the last 2-3 strides after he was the only one to follow the pacers, who did an awful job.
Lewandowski kicked as well as anybody but can’t expect to come out of the weeds in the last 100 every time out. Good win for Charlie Grice.
In the 800, Amel Tuka put .68 seconds on Kszczot in 2nd to win in 1:44.95, his fastest time since 2017. He’s only 28 and you might remember he ran 1:42.51 and won WC bronze in 2015.
Tuka has a 300m time of 34.46 from 2016 listed on his IAAF page, .05 slower than Miller-Uibo ran today. After her performance it’s hard to see her losing at 400 in Doha if she maintains her fitness.
Kenny Bednarek looked awful.
