Tight battle between Dibaba and Hassan to the wire, both 3:55's, PR for Hassan

Awesome. Nice to see those results.

Classic post. Dibaba is a cheat but all the other PRs in the race were legit. Can’t fight that logic.
Did you miss the part where she broke a comically fraudulent Chinese record? Miss the part where EPO was found in her coach's hotel room?
This forum is full of brainlets and bootlickers.
Still is not proof that she is juicing....I'm not saying that she isn't , but there is no evidence that she is.
The thing is everybody ran a pr or close to a pr in this race, which means that it was an even playing fields. There were no outliers. Everyone was running fast.

ADG ftw in 20.19 over Guliyev.
2-for-2 on my sprint predictions in Rabat. With that kind of time, Guliyev may have taken this one. I get the strange feeling that he’s playing a bit of possum, same as ADG did a few years back.
Guliyev doesn't give a f*ck in any race he can't easily win. He'll run 19.6x at Worlds.

Additionally, she looked like she was running at full capacity today... perfect pacing, fitness, and conditions... and STILL finished an astonishing 5 plus seconds outside of her PB. I am not implying she cheated today, but you are not thinking if you don’t look at 3:50 with slight suspicion.

Look up the difference between the words proof and evidence.

Lol well yeah, that’s a more succinct way to put it?

3:47 and it was 5 months
I think he ran that half a few weeks after a 3:32 1500m
Hassan is a freaking beast, basically another Mary Decker ( without the juice) for Al.
I wonder if she is going to wait until after the Olympics for her marathon debut. Her first marathon will probably be Berlin.
She is freaking ready. You can tell by the look in her eyes. Hassan's main problem was her shyness, and innocent approach. There was a time when she was too shy for the cameras, covering her face and stuff like that. She also used to cover her hair because of her faith.
Now she just looks like a terminator, and well poised in her ability. She's rocking dreds now, and has more of fierce approach. She's still humble and a little bit shy, but now she is mature.
She could very well break the women's marathon record and half.
proof and evidence go hand and hand.
"Proof may refer to: Proof (truth), argument or sufficient EVIDENCE for the truth of a proposition. Formal proof, a construct in proof theory. Mathematical proof, a convincing demonstration that some mathematical statement is necessarily true."
If you have proof, then you have evidence, and evidence is proof.
Im not sure what you're getting at.
Tell you what: Let’s strike out the first 11 finishers today, as they were clearly all doping. Simpson can stay, as it was only a SB for her. That should keep everyone happy. Logic and common sense wins the day.

Jesus Christ you guys sound just like the "got a source for that?!?!?!?!?!?" Reddit bugmen.
If you saw a photo of a needle in her arm you'd say "b-but you can't proooooooove it's EPO!!!"
Also fascinating that the EPO in her coach's possession and suspicious performances don't count as "evidence."
That's basic law. Her coach had it. She didn't have it, nor has she tested positive. FACTS. So it wouldn't fly in court. Again, that's simple law.
A needle in the arm paints a picture of substance use if that were the case. But what kind of substance was used? Did she test positive? Those arguments would be submitted, creating reasonable doubt.
Testing positive is the closest thing there is to evidence and proof, especially if the B sample comes back positive as well. Because regardless of the drug got into the system, positive is positive.
Edward Zakayo Pingua. Is 17. Looks 70. Just an example that it's impossible to use 'looks' when discussing age cheating.
Degrasse is getting closer to his previous form. That was a good win for him, and he accelerated in the last 50m, very good. However, he is still behind norman and noah. If he can run a sub 20 before the WC, then he might just be in the mix.
Looks like Simpson was very happy when they showed at the end of that video, probably pleased with breaking 4 at this point in the season despite her place not being that high.

No one says everybody else in the race is clean. But Dibaba is more or less a proven cheat while the others get the benefit of the doubt until there is good evidence otherwise.

"Dibaba is more or less a proven cheat "
O-o
proven how ? Please share this evidence or proof that you have.
Benefit of the doubt until there is evidence, sounds fair enough to me. Got my vote.

-Athlete breaks "unbreakable" record that was almost certainly doped to begin with
-Athlete's coach gets arrested with a large volume of used needles
-Athlete disappears "injured" from the racing scene, comes back and is beaten at the Olympics
-Athlete's form varies wildly over the next three years, disappearing from competition for long stretches, gets DFL in the final at Worlds, and even at her best is over five seconds off her best time
So no, that isn't technically proof the way that a positive test would be, but anyone with half a brain can look at the evidence and determine that Dibaba was very likely doping when she ran 3:50, and might be back on the sauce based on how she looks this year.
