Do tell
Simply put, it was payback from the Black community through the jury for three things: Rodney King, the perception that society would try to take down every Black icon (of which OJ was one), and for historically poor treatment by the LAPD.
Then mix in a lopsided advantage in legal skill for the defense and some exceptionally poor witnesses for the prosecution (Fung and Fuhrman) and the jury had all they needed to deliver the message.

There is no way Fuhrman could have had possession of the 2nd glove. The first responders found only one glove so you'd have to assume they lied and met Fuhrman somewhere to give it to him. The other possibility is that Fuhrman was the one who committed the murders.
Another problem is that before he would have planted the evidence it was not known whether Simpson had an alibi. If he had been out of town the whole time it would have been obvious that Fuhrman was trying to frame O.J. and he would have gone to prison.
The fact that Fuhrman dropped some N-bombs on a tape does not prove that he had some insane hatred for Simpson.
So it appears that most people think he murdered these 2 people. Are you upset that he "got away" or that the prosecution did a sloppy job trying to convict him?

Actually, I'm not upset at all. I think he has led a miserable life since the time of the murders and also spent 9 years in prison.
As for the trial, it was lost for the prosecution when it was moved to downtown L.A.

Most people on Letsrun (i.e. WHITE people) think he did it. They also mostly didn't go to high school or college with a lot of people different from themselves, don't go to a church/synagogue/other place of worship with people who look very different from themselves and mostly don't live next to, work with, and.or socialize with people who look very different from themselves. Go figure.

You forgot two other crucial points in addition to his size and age: he was also armed with a knife, and he no doubt had the benefit of surprise on his side. Not to mention he didn’t have to fight them both at the same time.
I don't remember, but weren't both victims intoxicated as well?

I find it interesting that you can make blanket statements about us based on preconceived notions. Some would call that bigotry ?

No, Nicole's mother had left her glasses at the restaurant where Goldman worked and he brought them over immediately after he quit for the night. Supposedly he had other plans for the night and was only going to drop them off. I don't know about Nicole, but certainly it would have been in the news if her blood analysis had shown that she was intoxicated.

It's not bigotry, but it is stupid. The evidence proved that he was 100% guilty and it would have been impossible to frame him.

Over the past 21-years, Dallas-based private investigator William C. Dear has gathered undisputed facts and hard evidence to build a new theory: O.J. Simpson is innocent. Over six episodes Dear teams with clinical and forensic psychologist, Dr. Kris Mohandie, and Rhode Island police Sergeant, Derrick Levasseur, to reopen the O.J. Simpson case, from the beginning to end, re-examining the known evidence and revealing compelling new information that points the finger to another key player in the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.

Whoever the "key player" is, it would still have required an impossible, massive conspiracy by the L.A.P.D. for the murderer not to have been O.J. Believe it or not, there are people out there who will throw out some bullish*t for a few bucks.
If you're are interested in learning the details of the case, Outrage: The Five Reasons Why O. J. Simpson Got Away with Murder, by Vince Bugliosi, is a good source. He was the prosecuted for the Manson trial.

And we all know the LAPD to be squeaky clean and to always do the right thing especially where blacks are involved.

OK. The conspiracy would have involved at least 10 people. What motive would they have to be willing to risk prison time for tampering with evidence and how did they possibly keep it a secret for all these years? You might have been too young at the the time or maybe not even born yet, but at the time of the murders, O.J. was extremely popular and most people wished it had been someone else. A lot of policemen are ex-jocks and it's likely that most of the guys involved in the case had been fans of his.

I always take Bugliosi with a grain of salt. There was waaaay more to the Manson murders than he would have you believe. Nicholas Schreck, who I also take with a grain of salt, has done some interesting work on this. The La Bianca ties to drugs/organized crime open up an entire, bizarre underworld. Bugliosi also wrote a book supporting the JFK-lone-gunman-theory too, so there is that. I see him more as a high level gatekeeper. That being said, OJ definitely did it; we can get bogged down in the minutiae of it and, as with any case, there is a lot we weren't told.

I don't think he did it. He might not have been the best husband or kind to Nicole, but something just isn't right. I think karma caught up with him and put him in this situation, but he didn't do it. The prosecution took the case for granted. Look how they treated the evidence in the case. Wasn't it left out for a couple of days before they actually started working on it? And what in the hell were they thinking . Marc Furhman!!! They had him on tape using the N word. That takes any credibility away regardless of what you are doing. And who is going to stand around while one person is cutting another person's throat? That was a professional hit. Yes the guy was still strong in his 40s, but apparently no one heard anything. Yes OJ wasn't a good guy to all, but I don't see it.
Purchase some spectacles.
