Has to be happy with that!
Agree, though I thought that she might be stronger over the last lap given her recent distance race appearances...
NBC almost showed a whole 2 laps of the SC race. What a joke.
Is Norah Jeruto Kazakhstani? She is listed as Kenyan but ran at Kazakhstan’s national indoor champs and seems to run a decent amount of meets there. I know she is a member of Atlay Athletics based in Kazakhstan but I don’t understand this situation. Also when you click on the link of the Grande Premiero Brasil earlier this year she is listed as Kazakhstani along with Daisy Jepkemei.

Nice PB for Warholm!

Hunter in PB shape for 1500 right now. Could run 3’33-3’34 this season. This would have been his junior year of college.
I don’t think he’s in PR shape as far as the 1500 goes, but I’m still really excited for him. He really impressed. This is yet more evidence—he’s a 5000 runner who should run 5000s now.
He may be a 5000 runner down the line, but I strongly disagree that she should run 5000s now. This year maybe at his peak he runs what -- mid 13:1x? Won't get into any DL races with that, nor will he make a US team. He was the 2nd fastest 1500m in the US last year, and is head and shoulders fitter this year.
He should stay at 1500 for 2019, 2020, 2021 with world's and olympics. He'll get fitter, faster at closing, and more experience in diamond league level fields. Then, if the time comes to move up to 5000 in 2022, that will only be his age 24 season.

Hunter running 7:39.85 for 3,000m at 21 years old. Just a reminder, he finished high school a year behind Grant Fisher. This could actually be his redshirt sophomore season if he had wanted it to be.
Let that sink in. Also, just reiterates that he DID make the right decision taking the money in bypassing the NCAA. His investments compounding and reinvesting dividends over those 4-5 years that would have been in the NCAA will be thanking him.
Also, he would have dealt with an Oregon coach that left for Washington. All in all, signing early isn't always bad. Congratulations, Drew.
Uhh Fisher ran 7:42 indoors in January...they're the same age.
I didn't know Warholm was such a goofball. That wasn't even his season best, why is he acting like he just broke a world record?
ok never mind I thought the wl 47.27 was him. Who was it?
It says AR behind his name. That's European Record and of course national record and PB...
We talking about the same guy who ran 3:39 last week?
Samba has the WL with 47.27.
Samba is 2nd fastest of all time with PB of 46.98.
You could argue that at the moment the top runners in 400m Hurdles is probably the best they've ever been.
Wouldn't be beyond imagination with 3 runners below 47 at the World Championships.

Can we agree that handing the winner a bouquet 5 seconds after they finish is just dumb. Why is this still done?
+1. Leave it for the awards ceremony.

Are you implying by “no need to kill himself” that running all out in a 100 vs just running to win will preserve him??
Just like Boldon just said: “put away comfortably”.
Learn something.
Doesn’t mean he “saves” anything from comfortably winning
He opened in a 13:21, and this race seems to be the equivalent of a low 13:1x. He was 2nd in an off (and oddly slow) year, and finished 6th at USAs. He got crushed by Gregorek last week, Centro is healthy, Engels is seriously fit, maybe Murphy runs it, and there’s a host of other good 1500 runners. Meanwhile, he beat Ben True today, Chelimo’s last few races have been seriously meh, and the only American who looks actually better thus far this season is Kirubel Erassa. I’d take him over all of BTC right now, and he vs. Fisher looks like a good match.
We’re about to watch Jakob Ingebrigtsen, aged 18, run his primary event in his home country. Should he be running 1:46 800s right now and exciting everyone about his potential in 5 years? It’s not like 5ks ruin Hunter’s future development, and presumably Tinman’s training isn’t that different for the 5k as opposed to 1500.
To those saying Hunter should stick to the 1500, he just beat Ben True and Andy Butchart. Both are fresh off sub-13:10 performances. He finished just behind Justyn Knight at Payton Jordan who also just ran 13:09.
Hunter can go sub-13:10 this year in the right race.

Even if it was a real record (i.e. a WR) he's still a goofball with that MacAuley Culkin shocked gesture
Haha.. It's not the WR, but still a real record mate. Would be sad if you were only allowed to be super happy after a World Record.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
Hats off to my dad. He just ran a 1:42 Half Marathon and turns 75 in 2 months!
