What do you want to achieve? Do you want to not give them the money, give them less money, have an open conversation with your wife?
If you're happy still giving them the money, I wouldn't raise it. Nothing good can come out of that conversation.
You are rich, that money probably means a lot to them.
I personally think it is really nice that you're helping them.

My wife gives her parents $2,000 a month...plus they live with us. They do watch our kids while we work though
Do you have an in-law apartment or are your all under one roof? That's nice that they watch the kids. That's like paying for daycare.
All in the same house. They kind of have their own area but kitchen shared and generally eat together....and yeah, pretty much is the same cost as daycare when they aren't here (they live with us for ~7-8 months a year)

That's cool. Do you enjoy living with them? Do you miss having your privacy? Do you ever butt heads? Her parents may move in with us eventually or we might get a separate guest house in the backyard or something, or her Dad might return to Vietnam.

Also, what do they spend $2,000/mo on? Healthcare? If there is no mortgage, car payment, shared utilities, shared meals etc I can't imagine spending that much per month.

TLDR: We take home $11k per month, saving for a house but wife gives in-laws $500-$600 per month for play money. Should I tell her it's wasteful or let her parents enjoy life?
Put a stop to it now, and if that doesn't work then get a divorce.
She's married to you not her in laws, but if she doesn't know that then it's time to move on.

If you think you have it bad now, wait till the get a little older and have to go into assisted living or something like that. You're gonna be paying $4K minimum per parent...so you can pretty much say goodbye to your house dreams.
Isn't that something everyone has to deal with though?
Do her parents have any family back in Vietnam? Why not repatriate them back to 'Nam?
COL is cheap there. Warmer. Hell, they don't even speak English, so probably they have no friends in Central Mass.
Wouldn't they be happier BACK HOME?
The real question is whether she opens the back door for you for fun and pleasure. If you are taking home $11K (wow) and have back door fun times with happy ending, how can you complain about a little bit of slush going to her folks?
Suck it up buttercup.
You said it’s your wife’s house. But they pay the mortgage directly to the bank?
You should not make them pay your mortgage. And the $500 a month is worth them not living with you.
