Since October 1, the US has eperienced the coolest, wettest weather on record. And not surprisingly that has led to the fewest forest fires on record. Climate alarmists are (of course) reporting the exact opposite (https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=4&v=AhupiztoIrE).

I love this, science is virtually never settled. How's best to train a middle-distance runner? 40km per week or 250km per week? What do they do when a male has prostate cancer? They deprive the body of testosterone but but the risk of getting PCa increases as men age and testosterone levels fall. Many males have taken testosterone after diagnosis with better longevity outcomes. Science is never settled.
Course you can. They take core samples of both poles every day. They can register climate changes for thousands of years.
You are just intellectually lazy. You think it should have been printed in the farmer's almanac

It’s all about climate change now, not global warming. Do try to keep up.
Climate isn't changing anymore than it has in the last 1000, right on par to be exact. Do try to develop a brain and think for yourself Sheep Head.

What the heck are you going on about here? Neither pole is occupied on a continuous (daily) or even regular basis.
Correct. It's bizarre so many are willing to believe world scientists are involved in a grand conspiracy to deceive about global warming.
The link to the Dunning Kruger effect was very ironic.
Every really intelligent and educated person who has looked into it thoroughly enough has confirmed that climate change is happening.
Either something is brainwashing them or they are correct.
These are experts who understand it in a way I do not. They are very smart people, much smarter than me, who have dedicated a great deal of time to studying it.
I am going to stick to my own limited field of expertise and assume they are right for now.

Surely you will agree the polar caps at both poles are getting warmer and warmer.
Maybe the north pole, but there is little evidence of the south pole (a number of researchers have tried to make data support the idea of a warming southern pole, but most of the data points do not support this supposition). The north pole is more of a product of the Siberian Anti-cyclone increasing in strength which deflects warm air up and around Siberia during the 6 months of winter and this warming is more localized and not representative of the globe as a whole. While the Northwest Passage is open for brief periods of time now, it was also open briefly in the early 1900s as well, so this oscillation is not unheard of even in recent history. I am not a global warming denier by any means, but at least be honest about some of the things you are claiming and don't make claims like the world will end in 12 years like some people on the left.

What was the motive for scientist in the 70s to say the earth was cooling?

Reading posts like this restores my hope in this website.

Awesome work, mate.
Very good science, don't know/understand the science, but because x amount of scientist say x you believe x. If 99% of scientist were for eugenics, would you support it?
Being "for eugenics" is not a scientific position, dumb@ss. God you are stupid.

We are coming out of an ice age. It's gonna get warmer. The climate will change and humans would love believe that they control the planet, but they don't. I understood that back in the global freezing scare in the 1970s when they said that we were entering a new ice age. The fact is that there isn't enough information for global climate models to be accurate so they fudge the numbers to predict what they want to see.
Ignorant people are incapable of acknowledging their lack of knowledge.

Back in 1984 we were all told that we were in danger of dying of AIDS and that is was a sexually transmitted disease. Almost everyone believed it and anyone who questions it, even now is subjected to... well, you know?
The reality is that as soon as the news people got hold of the idea back then, it was the end of any hope of intelligent debate on the issue.

Don't understand the reasoning behind eugenics? Hint: Darwinism

So, it was a rough late fall, winter and spring between 30 north latitude to 60 north latitude. That happens.
The Earth's atmosphere is pretty big. Releasing man made CO2 into the atmosphere isn't going to make everyone's ears pop.
yeah, global warming isnt aging too well...
seems like the target or name is continually changing to fit the agenda. not a good look
