There used to be an actual article about this from Wartburg online, but I think it’s been taken down. Someone posted a blog post about it above. I guess Wartburg’s men xc team had some tradition involving sexually harassing female DQ workers, one of which was underaged. The female employees eventually complained, but I don’t think anything was really done about it. A bit surprising as I think Amherst men’s xc team was banned either that year or the year after.
Anyway, stuff like this, as well as other things I noticed when I ran in the conference, makes me dislike Wartburg. Pretty great runners, kind of bad people.
A few years ago? You do realize none of the current runners were on that team, right?

exactly, nothing was done because it was fake news and nothing actually happened. They went back and apologied in person after the article and the DQ employees were like, "for what?"
Everyone knows you're lying and that's not at all what happened.
We can all agree that Wartburg is super fast and good for them (Although everyone knows they're shady) but let's not act like the culture at Wartburg is friendly and positive. And that's not just XC that's the school as a whole
Hey Wartburg is looking for some Clash of Clans players for the clan. If you play join cool xc clan. ID #2889p8q90
Shady? Just a bunch of running dorks like the rest of the conference.

What a great showing by the two Loras women! 5th and 25th is great, I wonder what we would have seen from Loras had the entire team gotten an opportunity to race nationals.

If Loras' 3-4-5 finish dead last, Loras still gets 28th as a team, beating multiple of those at-large teams the selection committee decided were better.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!

Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
