Newsflash, LetsRunners ... not everyone wants to name their kids Emma and Ethan. Sheesh.
She is fun and full of crazy energy (I wish I had 1/10th of her enthusiasm about anything) and will be great for the sport if she has a long track career.

How many times have I detailed that signature 0.50 improvement over 2 seasons in other athletes. And Richardson improved by 0.60!
Here, we are talking about a girl who turned 19 this year, and who essentially went from HS to a college (which is sprinting powerhouse).
Her improvement is red-flag worthy, however not as much as if she had done this at the age of 27 like the Jeters of this world.

Seriously. It's idiotic to think everybody uses Anglo-Saxon names as the basis for what should be considered 'normal.'
Not everyone wants a name like that. And I say this as someone with the most boring sounding white guy name.
They sure like their roids at LSU I remember a couple of years ago or maybe last year LSU 4 by 1 relay looked like 4 dudes roids work though and you ain't trying if your not cheating that's LSU model lol no way that women is clean.
I was wondering what happened to Candace Hill. What a shame! Such amazing outstanding potential.

Oh please.
Ethnic names are fine.
Sha'Carri is a ghetto hoochie name.
Good thing she sprints well. Most HR departments will simply shred a resume that bears a name like that.
Big facts.

She is clean as a whistle: no time for PEDS between getting the tats, hair, nails and piercings.

I think she is a great and entertaining character but yah, not exactly pristine from the needle. Kayla White seems more real and gracious in (a very fast) defeat by this upstart.

Good gawd, do you dolts really believe that 18-19yo athletes are doping and keeping their mouths shut? All of these years of consistent incredible performances, and all of these young people were in on a massive doping conspiracy? LOLOLOL!
18-19yo's can't keep their mouths shut about anything, let alone a multi-decade systemic doping situation.

Who said anything about "systemic"? She is American not Russian. Americans, when they choose to do so, dope of their own free will.
As far as keeping quiet on something that would destroy her rep/career, you need to date a few young women if you believe they can't keep things secret that they don't want to be known. On second thought, you are too gullible to handle the truth, just stay incel.
Riiiiiiiggghhhhtttt.. that long history of LSU winning is due to individuals doping. Don't tell their coaches, they'd be disappointed to learn the truth!
And as for your 'incel' comment on top of your delusion, you're pathetic, at best.
Take a look at Hobbs and Brisco, over loaded with T.
This 10.75 was a very quick progression. Yes she ran 10.99 in the semi but you don’t jump to 10.75 in such a short period.
A silly looking hair hat she wore to race in.
Get rid of that she might pull another 2/100ths off her time
Ashford was implicated in the taking of dianabol by another athlete. Annoyingly, I can't recall in which autobiography I read it in.

This was sure a boss run from Richardson. I don't like her start mechanic, I think she stands to gain easily 0.05 by having a better body position. She is a power runner, pounding her way down the track, and is absolutely inexorable!
That rate of improvement is sick. She needs to strike while the iron is hot, and go pro NOW. Enjoying the shelter of the NCAA is one thing, but out in the world she needs a team behind her.
100m is her sweet spot, it seems. Start needs work, and no historic status achieved (yet) in the 200m.
Bottom line: I would LOVE to see her win WC, beating the Jamaicans in the process.
ROFL
Great post! I imagine she would have run much better in the 200m had she not had to races before hand. She also seemed to stand up far too quickly in the 200m. I imagine she's more Hurtis like. The 100m will always be her preferred event. But she did break the WJR, but 10.75 is ridiculous.

Err, ---NEWS FLASH---, she did, we all saw it on our TV's.

I honestly don't know why you guys waste your energy on trolls. They sit at their computers/ with their phones writing barely coherent posts, before watching and aching for someone to bite, and you do. Just enjoy your track and field.
Evelyn Ashford lost a step at the start, yet still ran 10.76. I would swear that she was clean.
I shouldn't have laughed, but I did, better than 'Lee-a' I suppose.
my god shes fast! her improvement over a 12 month period is insane.if she were chinese, the outcry would be deafening, and if she were african, shed be accused of being a man.
